  • Denmark, learn something from this video. Please, because this video shows you your leaders opinions on democracy. if the demonstration gets too big and hectic? Just use the cops to arrest them all. FUCK that!

  • They were not sitting only 3 hours. More like 8 for some 400 of them. The police said they did not have enough busses. Which is a lie. There were no problems in the rest of the demonstration, and almost no cops. They made the protestors sit on the cold tarmac only to teach them a lesson. A lot of them wet themselves. They did not get any water or food from the police, only from sympathetic civilians. This was against human dignity. And 90 % were innocent bystanders or peaceful protestors.

  • did anybody actually vote for a police state?

  • Good on the police! Fuck all leftist idiots, they should all rot in hell.

  • Dude...Seriously..Start paying attention to the news, and start reading the news on the internet. Don't be fooled by the state approved propaganda that you're watching. Makes you look like an idiot.

  • *yawn* No unnessary police brutality in this video.

And I agree with rosdahl100. The right to protest does not include destroying property, violence and defying direct orders from the police.

If you don't like those rules you can vote differently (though I don't think you would get a majority behind you) or move to another country.

PS. Have any of you protestors (if there are any here?) ever been hit by a thrown/flying brick? ...

  • Yesin sweden many times during 2001 demonstration/riots in gotenburg.the police also shot one man, and shot into a crowd of people, luckily only 1 person was shot.

The policethen started tocover this incident up, by editing in sound from the demonstration, together with the videofrom the shooting, whichmakes it sem likea way more intense situation than it actually was. Check it out for yourself, google it, it's true. The swedish judicial system is _DEAD_ and there are plenty of proof to show it!

  • Just ignore the government. Ignore your speeding tickets, ignore your drivers license expiration, just stop giving any of it your attention. Then this bull will fall away naturally. Remember it's YOUR money keeping this bloated demon alive. Get out of paper, use gold/silver. It's much harder to manipulate and tax.

  • The role of the police in Denmark is actually to protect us from fascists. Like you.

  • fuck the facsist police of denmark and wannabe dictators araoud the world!

  • some police get emotions miixed with there authority..example if a protester just yells out "fuck police we dont need them" of course its going to get under his or her skin so thatts something that can cause police brutality, but there still incidents were its completly the police fault.

  • @ThetrueAloveFor they are trained proffesionals, they can't allow it to get under their skin

  • oh no! "being detained for up to 12 hours" is that really so fucking bad? jeez, you're talking about being detained like spending 20 years in a prison..

"people sat on teh ground for 3 hours" wow, and teh WORST CASE SCENARIO is a cold... is that so fucking bad? im so tired of people bitching about the danish police.. they do a great fucking job of keeping these idiots off the street!

  • @Spunn3d wtf ? being detained for one single minute is too much! what did they do ? they were exercising their civil rights to protest. you're to ignorant to see what is happening in this world so go to sleep in front of your idiotbox.

  • @grimyguerilla i understand that they have that civil right, but when the police estimate that there are some elements within the peaceful protesters who wish to harm other people, the police have to treat everyone as hostile until they can determine who's the bad guys and who's the good guys..

    that's how law enforcement works..

  • @Spunn3d no, they only have to "treat as hostile" those who are a real threat, but not those who are protesting peacefully. thats their job to take out the real threats and not put everybody under suspicion and deny them their human rights.

  • @grimyguerilla okay, im ending this discussion, because you obviously dont understand the danish laws.

the danish police have the right to detain someone for 24 hours if they suspect that you are part of a criminal activity. if it turns out that you werent, then you are released and that is that.

the police are not violating any laws by doing what they are doing. you have to get that through your head. you might THINK that they are, but they're not.

  • @Spunn3d danish, swedish or wonderlandish laws, the police is still not allowed to beat up people, torture them, let them stay outside handcuffed in the blistering cold freezing and peeing themselves, men, women, youth and children. your understanding of law is a positivistic one mine is natural one, so yes this is fruitless.

  • @grimyguerilla LOL. You are right to a certain point. If the demonstraition is peaceful BUT when the crowd of the demonstraition escalates into violence and destroying properties then that is it. Then the police i authourized to use force. If you dont do as the authority tell you, you will suffer the consequences. If they tell you to leave and you dont, its your own fault if you get a beating. If you people dont want to keep it peaceful you deserve to get beat up.

  • @rosdahl100 Yes, that is correct but not completely. Because we are talking about the case at hand, and not an artificial one from the law-student's casebook. For them to exercise usage of force, there need to be a legitimate reason, or a real threat at hand. Obviously this is not the case here. The usage of force by the police in this case against peaceful protestors was excessive and inappropriate and probably part of political agenda.

  • @grimyguerilla

Fair enough. You sound like one that was part on the demonstration. Then you also know the demonstration was´nt completley peaceful. And you also know there are people that only protest looking for a reason to fight the police. What do you want the police to do when that group hides among the "peaceful". You se my point. Ond more thing, the right to protest is only valid until the police says you got leave. Read the law about protesting.

  • Ever been to a demonstration? the cops hit first, and tell you to move afterwards. Standard police procedure. They treat you like the enemy, not the once who's rights you're supposed to uphold...

    Peace

  • Thank god for the police. It could have turned into chaos had it not been for the police putting a stomp to the voilent demostration.

  • @meat1cleaver fuck the police

  • Fuck the police

  • i was the only person not to get arrested!

  • I didn´t see this demonstration at the COP15, but i did see some very scary things.

I´ve lived in Copenhagen for 3 years now, and this year at the COP15 i clearly saw the police´s unnessesary brutality. For an example i saw countless media people being bit by the dogs for absolutely no reason at all! Im fed up with this, i do not want to see this lovely, peaceful country turn into a Police state! STOP IT NOW!!!

  • @KristaDrews Exscuse me Krista- but what are you talking about? If you have lived here for 3 years then you probably should know that Denmark aren't turning in to a "policestat"!!

  • January 8th 2009 It snowed in Florida today...=32 degree's Hows Al Gores Bullshit storey looking now?

  • 100,000? is this guy on acid or crack? or just can't count or come close to counting, about 2,000

  • they were atleast 100.000 protestors. The video just didnt show all of them because it was only a small part of the large demonstration that was cut off.

  • A.C.A.C.. Especially the danish police. We have a fucked up system

  • @katzeosp you think you have it bad? im in the US

  • @JPSoviet the US?! the only fukking reason the US has never experienced any fucking social revolution is because you all are silent sheep, who fears the gorervment

  • @Veganpony a social revolution isn't the only answer, many revolutions end with a despotism, like in russia, cuba, iran, liberia, ghana....

  • @Veganpony i live in america and agree with this, as much as i HATE to admit it

  • @soakupthesunman None say that except prisonplanet, you lie.

I challenge anyone to type 'CO2 ocean acidification' into Google to see what they get.

You are a liar and obviously too stupid to bother with,

anyone reading through will discover this for themselves.

Go to new scientist and do a search for mars warming.

    the top article is.

'Climate myths: Mars and Pluto are warming too'

    Others describe dust storms etc.

Find out from science sources what scientists say.

Denial tactics = lies and BS.

  • Fuck police...

  • From what I have read and heard, there were people who went to Copenhagen as "activists" who somehow believed that something was going to be done there that would "heal" the planet from "climate change". They shaved their heads, and cried because they "have nothing left to say".

    GROW UP you moronic pawns.

  • /watch?v=2dNTMtSeYJA

  • @ThePresidentialTouch Ron Paul points to the corruption brilliantly,

    But think about this.

If a corp bribes a school to tell the kids that they should only ever eat a particular brand of burger, then the school is corruped.

the solution is not to close schools.

but to kick out the corp.

take it for yourselves not for the boss class to rule unfettered.

Pursuit of happiness, not the blind pursuit of profits for the boss.

Come on America, we know you are smarted than that.

  • I couldn't agree more!

  • mars, you ruin what cred you might have thru your constant harping against "corps".

the menace comes from the state and from the people who want to control the state

anti-corp rhetoric is but a red herring

    corps actually answer to regs

who does a rampant state answer to?

    AGW propaganda is pro-state,not pro-corp

  • The corrupt state answers to the corps.

That is the problem, and now they have creeps like you, the unemployed and uneducated fighting for them.

You are against democracy even, I hear your people refer to it as mob rule.

wake up, you are an embarrassment to your own country and to humanity

all so your boss can make another $

Even in the USA people are realizing this now and your movement is beginning to fall to pieces.

    turn on it too.

  • @soakupthesunman The recent research on CO2 states;

Climate change has arrested the Southern Ocean's ability to absorb greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

The point is made that the IPCC's model needed updating to reflect this.

It means we are in deep shit.

people like you and your prisionplanet rants are harming the planet.

Ron Paul regularly 'confuses' SO2 and CO2.

    why would he do that?

He is the corp lobby leading morons and racist creeps.

He is not a liberator, it is a scam.

    turn on it.

  • mars:

the very idea that the ocean can't aborb any more CO2 is ludicrous. the suggestion taht this would be due to man's CO2 is laughable.

i'm not part of prison planet nor am I a pauly.

there you go with the "corp" reference again.

you need to upgrade your prop, corps spend more on pro-AGW lobbying than anti. by far.

  • @soakupthesunman

There are no papers of any kind that I could find disputing my claims.

You will have to produce one for me before I can take you seriously.

here are some which support my position. Googling will pull up the pdfs

National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, report on ocean acidification.

Michael Wickett at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory,

Ken Caldeira of the Carnegie Institution in Stanford have all produced papers on this subject. cont..

  • "although complex, the chemistry of ocean acidification is very certain," says James Orr of the Laboratory of Sciences of the Climate and Environment (CEA-CNRS) in France.

Christopher L. Sabine, Richard A. Feely, Nicolas Gruber, Robert M. Key, Kitack Lee, John L. Bullister, Rik Wanninkhof, C. S. Wong, Douglas W. R. Wallace, Bronte Tilbrook, Frank J. Millero, Tsung-Hung Peng, Alexander Kozyr, Tsueno Ono Aida F. Rios, in their paper "The Oceanic Sink for Anthropogenic CO2"

    cont...

  • There are many many more like this, If you like I can dig more up for you.

The only place I could find which disagreed, was prisionplanet.

thus you are an Alex Jones sucking idiot.

It is the corp lobby you bow to, like a fool, they have you working against life on the planet for corp $.

    You should be ashamed.

  • mars, the claim - "the oceans can't absorb any more CO2 and this is due to man's CO2emissions" needs no scientific refute. It's a freakin' joke on its face. as are officious motormouths like you. don't tell me to STFU, you jumped-up asshat! continue to snivel-wank about corps and alex jones and ron paul, it looks good on ya.

  • @soakupthesunman

You have so far not given one piece of evidence, all you are quoting is far right propaganda from Alex Jones NWO conspiracy theorists.

Ranting nonsense because you saw a glossy video.

I can show you the origin of those videos, they are produced by the oil corps lobby.

They have nothing to do with science whatsoever.

They are attacks on the most experts researchers in the field.

You're a moron stooge for corps,

    wake up.

    turn on them.

  • he Oceanic Sink for Anthropogenic CO2, Science

Eur-Oceans Fact Sheet No. 7'Ocean Acidification - the other half of the CO2 problem

Ocean acidification and atmospheric CO2 stabilization, Geophysical Research Letters, Vol. 34

It is beyond a consensus, It is in fact the object of study by a great many people.

You sir are a ranting idiot.

Truly a disgrace to the life on this planet.

  • I can only post so many references before it looks spamming YT. another one for you,

Wolf-Gladrow et al. Direct effects of CO2 concentration on growth and isotopic composition of marine plankon

    Some quotes from science sources;

"The long-feared saturation of one the worlds primary carbon sinks has apparently started"

"CO2 uptake halved between the mid-90s and 2000 to 2005"

    etc.

It is being explored and is not completely understood by any means,

However your position is drivel soakedupthesun.

  • "long feared saturation", so they've been watching this for a long time, they know it's part of natural cycles but they also knew that idiots like mars would lap it up unquestioningly. very revealing.

  • mars, your anti corporate snivelling, adherence to obvious junk science, and tendency to display your lack of a life all speak to your lack of cred.

your opinion that the CRU emails prove nothing only makes your idiocy more apparent.

  • mars you just keep on keepin' on about corps. i didnt see a "glossy video", all i see are dumb comments from you about some science. tell you what, numbnut, google "climategate" and you might find a free clue.

science tells me that the very idea that the oceans have been saturated by man's CO2 is fucking stupid. get out of it ya juvenile lamppost.

  • @soakupthesunman 15 years of emails, 11 were suspicious, 2 of which has emails which could be read 2 ways, only one of which was about tree rings.. in a context of rants from the corps and people like you.

    That is no conspiracy.

It actually makes your position absurd

  • mars, it's not just the emails, its the refutation of CRU methodolgy by scientists who freely share their data and methods. it's computer code designed to produce results that have nothing to do with the data.

there very much was a conspiracy, but thanks for proving my point. i think i can legitimately say you are full of shit.

  • @soakupthesunman

    Statement by the American Meteorological association;

"For climate change research, the body of research in the literature is very large and the dependence on any one set of research results to the comprehensive understanding of the climate system is very, very small. Even if some of the charges of improper behavior in this particular case turn out to be true — which is not yet clearly the case — the impact on the science of climate change would be very limited."

  • @soakupthesunman Not all the oceans absorb CO2 at the same rate, factors include temperature, time of year, the depth the water at the surface originated from, the concentration of C02 in the atmosphere etc.

However what we are seeing is either a rapid decline of Ocean uptake of CO2 or saturation way before it was expected to arise.

A combination of factors means we saw exponential uptake previously.

It is not over, but the trend is not good.

    Investigate and drop the trash.

    read the science.

  • mars, if you think mankind's few percentage points of CO2 have caused this alleged "exponential uptake"" you're even more of a dolt than your myriad forelock-tugging postings indicate.

  • mars, I spent several seconds finding a reference to oceanic acidification and most of the links state that it's a non-issue.

that you, marscubed, are willing to quote the harebrained CRU-led minority who pretend it IS an issue tells us a lot.

BTW, mars, explain to us why it is that Mars is warming?

  • Just before this video clip violent demonstrators attacked peaceful people and citizens in Copenhagen. Just before this clip, the violent demonstrators had thrown stones at the police and made a riot in Copenhagen. Therefore they were arrested.

  • ah... evidence please? what exactly are you referring to? i was there with a team of other film-makers and independent journalists and none of use witnessed anything like that.

  • perth, the fact is, once a demonstration has done damage, ALL demonstrations in that area for the duration of the event are suspect. want to demonstrate peacefully? then police your demonstration. you lose the right to demonstrate when your fellow idiots go on with arson and vandalizing.

all your snivelling about police brutality is just so much romantic nonsense.

  • @EuropeanStandards They merely let off a couple of fireworks to grab the attention and two minutes later everything was back to normal. They acted undemocratically? please can you define Democracy? I do not know what people call democracy today because I have yet to see an example of it. I get the feeling everyone is guilty until proven innocent, right? that's what your comment says. If all actions were based on assumptions then I assume you are a terrorist therefore imprisoned. Is that fair?

  • Let me define my sense of democracy; that people of different cultures, beliefs and religion, and ofcouse political standpoints can meet and share their political opinions with other people without using any form of violence. That is my sense of democracy. Because violent leftwing activists are arrested, suddenly we live in a police state on Iran's level? The detained at COP15 were guilty in being a threat to public safety. In Denmark you are not-guilty until proven otherwise.

  • I am sure that you need a lot of examples of how a western democracy works; but I see it every day. You might sympathize with leftwing activists who cant express themselves verbally and I'm sure that you interpret facts as fiction because the democracy you want is in fact plain anarchy. I think, just like you, that the police should be looked over the shoulder; ofc. But the police is not violating any human rights because it detain not-peacefull demonstrators and violent activists.

  • @EuropeanStandards Do not be so stupid.

The people with the undemocratic intent were the ones who did not listen to the voice of science or the people. In fact they use violence and force to get corporate rape of the planet and people's lives.

People like you are like the NAZIS, standing by in the name of some bigoted standard while horrors are committed in your name.

  • So the fact that some politicians dont want to listen on scientists because of their political standpoint can justify being violent during demonstrations?

  • @EuropeanStandards LOL.

Seriously, i have been reading science journals and subscribe to one, for decades.

Follow the science. it is a vast amount of evidence now

The latest research from MIT shows global warming will be more than twice what was previously feared.

it is the most sophisticated model so far.

The world is already being harmed,

    independent brand new research.

oceans are dying, reaching CO2 saturation and becoming acid.

do not be an anti life moron

join the call to reduce CO2.

  • I share the same feelings about the climate as you do; I think the process of action is too slowly and too insufficient. Some, as you and I, believe in scientists, and others do not. But you have a problem if you can justify violent actions made by leftwing activists because some politicians do not listen to scientists. I'm sure that scientists have a lot of interesting data and proves on this climate issue; but violence is the wrong way to promote a cause.

  • @EuropeanStandards I have been on lots of demonstrations, there are always some ultra leftists (anarchists) there, often students.

Police use them as an excuse to attack everybody else.

The vast majority there were not violent.

What the police are attempting is intimidation and bullying the public.

It is illegal for them to do so, protest is a right in a democracy.

Let us make the protests bigger, lift paving slabs, bring wooden poles for banners etc, next time to keep the police actions legal.

  • At COP15 there were 75.000-100.000 protesters; but the police only arrested a few of them. The police only engaged the most leftwing and violent section of the demonstration. You have a constitutional right to demonstrate; but only as long your intensions are not violent, your actions are not violent and you are not a threat to the public safety. The police made the assessment that some of the leftwing activists were violent and therefore the activists were detained and arrested.

  • @EuropeanStandards I have seen it so many times though.

    You obviously haven't

    Prosecutions of police often follow.

    Explain that!

The police are given orders to attack, that is where the political violence starts.

Historically the police are not reasonable, some are thugs.

If you do not know this then you are likely to change your mind then next time you get a riot stick smashing your skull just for raising your opinion.

THere is a time when enough is enough and when fighting back is justice.

  • "Historically the police are not reasonable, some are thugs" - how can you use such an unintelligent arguement in this debate. Do you honestly think that the danish police department employs criminals? Its rare I hear such a cynical arguement. The police have to strike down on people who breaks the law and that sometimes means using a police botan; and that is not violence but making sure that the anarchistic and leftwinged activists wont set our streets on fire.

  • @EuropeanStandards I have seen it with my own eyes on many occasions you idiot.

And i am not an anarchist.

I very much believe in reason and debate, democracy and law.

The fact is though that the police are employed as political thugs to defend corp interests.

Some hate this work, and some are thugs.

When thugs are employed against law abiding demonstrators, it is time to use violence to defend the law against the police.

There is no monopoly in justice.

  • It is lawful to use any necessary means to stop police officers breaking the law.

For their own good and for the good of society we should all stand up against brutality with enough resolve that if does not happen again.

The police cannot win this way.

  • Obviously you dont know how to debate. If you have to get personal in this debate calling me an "idiot" because your arguements are so poor that you have to spice up your opinion with terms of abuse, then I think you have a problem my friend. You sympathize with law breakers, violent leftwing activists, you sympathize with people who uses violence against authorities; you are desillusionized and represent a cynical, almost dangerous, opinion of anarchism and un-democratism.

  • @EuropeanStandards You are upset because my point works.

You make no sense at all.

some kind of taboid headline you once read maybe.

You accuse the people in the video of crime

it is clear that the crime is being committed by police.

They should be arrested by the protesters, at the very least police who break the law should be stripped of their uniforms and thrown off the streets.

As the anger grows, this is more likely to happen.

attitudes like yours actually cause this.

  • "There is a time when enough is enough and when fighting back is justice"- you sound like a person who have strong sympathies with people who breaks the law using the word "democracy" as an apology. The day you can justify violence and lawbreaking, thats the day you have truly turned your back on true democracy; what you want is anarchy. Fighting the authorities with violence is never, never justifiable, and I'm glad that authorities detained these undemocratic leftwing activists.

  • @EuropeanStandards I have seen young women go to pet a police horse only to be hit repeatedly by nazi police.

and many are far right creeps just looking for a reason to hit people and get away with it.

    They murder demonstrators.

If such police are employed against regular people, it is only a matter of time before crowds really turn on them.

Like in Iran this week, they shot into crowds and were chased away.

    grow up

  • I know that you probably interpret fact as fiction, but "they murder demonstrators"? Where in the world have you got that from? The danish police is acting in all of ours interest when they arrest such criminal anarchists whose biggest hope is not to make a true democracy; but making a destroying and democracy-supressing anarchy. You sound very disillusioned and almost brain washed when you voice your opinon on this subject.

  • @EuropeanStandards It is not what we see in the video though is it?

What we see are police rounding up many innocent people and subjecting them to brutality.

Or is their right to protest irrelevant, less important than a scuffed police boot cost from kicking heads?

beating up demonstrators to make a political point.

if is a stupid one, the anger builds up, more will come armed, planet saving cannot be stopped with bullets even.

That is pretty obvious to most.

    You seem mad.

  • What I see in the video are activists who do not follow authorites' orders. You sound like one big conspiracy theory. Do you really think that the danish police is a tool of supression used by the politicians to make a political statement? The fact that police arrest violent activists with violent intensions is to protect our constitutional rights. You dont have the constitutional right to act violent or demonstrate illegally; you know that right?

  • @EuropeanStandards Ask yourself who those people are.

    They are not maniacs.

They are doctors, students, bus drivers, nurses, teachers etc

Angry at the crime of environmental damage - which exists because police thugs are used to stop protests in Africa and other states.

Your position is beyond stupid, all you are doing is quoting tabloid junk by the far right. protecting the very same corps in the same way that they get protected in Africa.

thugs and rape money used as bribes.

  • Who are these people? They are doctors, nurses, bus drivers, teachers etc. And they are all socialists and leftwing orientated. They have a political standpoint that is more than willing to introduce our society to communism. Capitalism isnt without backsides; but please see how your ideology robbed people from their freedom and lives in Cambodia, Russia, China, Vietnam and Cuba. Your political standpoint has already been turned down by history.

  • @EuropeanStandards I am not a conspiracy theorist.

the conspiracy that there is is quite open.

corporations are blind profit chasers. they do what they do and but political influence to do it.

in Africa they buy murder squads and rape divisions to clear land for prospecting.

they prop up evil regimes and push for terror to get their $.

If you think that is conspiracy then you will have to tell me who pays the $ and who the oil corps are.

it is in the bloody business pages you idiot.

  • How in the world can you relate the conditions in Africa, which you know noting about clearny, to the danish situation where leftwing violent activists are arrested for breaking the laws? And correct, we have some profit hunters, but they do not rape our planet, they enrich our lives in many ways. And yes, you live in a conspiracy theory; you think that all corporations are acting crminal, all police officers are thugs used by elected politicians.

  • I am very shocked of how much you have sympathy for people who commit violence. What in the world is it for a society you want, when you tolerate violence? Its okay for activists to commit violence, but when a police officer arrest a protester suddenly we live in a dictatorship. As I said before; you make facts fiction and you live in a conspiracy theory.

  • @EuropeanStandards

Police are used to protect worst corps who break every law.

Why aren't bankers and oil corp EOs arrested instead?

Police should be pushed aside, they are criminals who protect rapists while they rape.

Putting them on the streets is a crime which endangers them.

The police and constitution break when you use them as political thugs.

Yours is the anti democratic position.

the people will have a voice.

The alternative on this issue is death.

    not actually an option.

  • When you have sympathy for violent leftwing activists, do you then also have a sympathy for rapists, childmolesters and bank robbers who also breaks the law? Or is it only the violence commited by desillusionized and brainwashed communists, that can be tolerated? I hoped we could have a democratic debate on a subject like this; but when your sympathy is with the people who commits violence and breaks the law; then I really dont want to hear your standpoints of anarchy at any level.

  • @EuropeanStandards How can you even suggest such a thing?

The child rapists and killers, the bank theft, the murder of millions is to keep oil corps in profit.

We have just had hundreds of thousands die in a war for their filthy profits.

Whlie wages are driven down to keep a few creeps rich.

They have actually committed these crimes against humanity and even against all life and environment.

That is why there are angry protests

    Are you stupid on purpose?

  • No one is dying for profit; I can tell you that. But when you claim that thousands have died in the name of capitalism; could then please mention the name of just one who died because some wanted profit? You have a lot of not documented arugements and ofcouse all your arguements is a part of one big theory of conspiracy. If you want to change the system, why dont engage in politics instead of being a little internet-communist with a cynical undemocratic standpoint?

  • @EuropeanStandards

    Can't be bothered with you.

anyone reading through will make their own judgement.

Your position is so ludicrous you do not need me to make you look like a moron.

    bye.

  • Being led like sheep into a dark alley to be silenced is not on.

go shove that anti democratic idea.

Next time people will come prepared to break through.

You know it, I know it.

    it is not rocket science.

If the police escalate, it is not weight of numbers any more,

Do it again and we will start to see baton rounds and serious violence against police lines by regular citizens.

If the only option is direct action, that is what happens.

people are very angry about corporate environmental rape.

  • mars, you sound like you think this has never happened before - "next time", "Do it again".

You're wrong. This is just the same old lame bullshit. Demonstrations are nowhere. Nothing to do with democracy at all.

Your beakin' about "corporate environmental rape" only shows how out of it you are. The worst pollution comes from countries where gov't is dictatorial. Don't be misled by hard left bullshit. It only makes you sound stupid.

  • @soakupthesunman so the sufferegetes had nothing to do with women's votes.

    Yeah riiiiight.

    You see, not stupid.

Oil corps and Saudi were the two biggest lobby groups at Copenhagen pushing GW denial.

Maybe politics is different on your planet.

  • Suffragettes did indeed have nothing to do with women getting the vote. They made a lot of noise, so what? This is a common mistake "activists" make, taking credit for changes in society. Get over yourselves, kids. "Oil corps and Saudi" were at Copenhagen? BS. Prove it. Anyway, they don't mind a bit if GW propaganda succeeds, they'll just make even more money that way.

The science tells us man's CO2 is not significant. That is why some scientists have been trying to hide the science.

  • I hope when violent protestors next time are planning to voice their standpoints, that they will do it on a peacefull manner. But I'm sure that if the demonstrators engage in violence they will be arrested and detained again.

  • @EuropeanStandards LOL

Every progressive movement in the world is illegal.

American civil war, emancipation of women, the civil rights movements.

You really are an idiot if you believe police have anything to do with it.

In Timex at Dundee a while ago.

2 million pushed every single police in Scotland off the hill. they had all leave cancelled etc.

There are many many more of us than there are of them.

    The law was completely irrelevant.

People like you would have been a laughing stock.

  • How can you relate violent undemocratic leftwing extremists with the emancipation of women, the American civil war and other civil rights movement? They fought for democracy; you fight blindly for anarchy. And are you being cynical on purpose? And you are right; I acknowledge that there are many cynical leftwing activists like you. By the history has also shown us, that your kind will never gain any political influence; and thats because you are a political minority of leftwing extremists.

  • mars, I note your bragging about mob rule.

    Good luck with that.

That's why cops have nightsticks, mace, tasers, and laws allowing them to use 'em.

And that's why assholes like you have a head.

  • mars, you've been duped by a lot of AGW propaganda. temp readings, sea levels, hurricane frequency, NONE OF IT supports ANYTHING the IPCC has said.

ocean acidity is utterly outside discussion.

that is such a made-up story it works as a sort of "freak flag", telling us anyone using it is an unquestioning dupe. That's you.

the very idea that our tiny contribution to

CO2 is going to make the oceans acidic is just too hilarious. have some self respect.

  • @soakupthesunman looked at your channel, you are an ultra conservative.

Interesting that your position is identical to oil corps and Saudi.

Ocean acidification is a very real phenomenon.

If you read anything other than the corp lobby propaganda then you would know this.

any science journal will confirm this.

oceans are reaching saturation, their ability to absorb CO2 is declining.

corals are melting, sea creature's shells are thinning as a direct consequence.

None of this is disputed by anybody.

  • marscubed, you need to inform yourself. for example mars is warming, the polar caps are shrinking and have been for years.

You seem to obsess on "oil corps and saudi".

You do know it's "Saudi Arabia", don't you?

I don't care one bit about either one, so your straw man obsession means nothing to me.

Science tells us man's CO2 is insignificant, so to pretend otherwise shows you have an agenda that has nothing to do with science, logic, or democracy.

  • @soakupthesunman

I have read science journals since I was at university.

The concern in the science community is that the oil corp lobby is obscuring consensus.

The latest and most sophisticated models of climate so far have been released by MIT recently.

They suggest that global warming will be more than double previous estimates.

However feed back mechanisms have yet to be included from permafrost melting. warming is likely to be much more.

You quote ppl who said ozone hole was a myth.

  • Comment removed

  • @soakupthesunman Have a look at v=2T4UF_Rmlio

    especially the second half,

It details how the corps have spun the myth of a science split.

It is the very same scientists who said asbestos is safe who said lead in pertol did not damage child brain development, they also were the people who said ozone hole was a lie.

The very same 'scientists' your position depends on, are part of the corporate lobby.

Many were employed by Bush directly as spoilers. look at their history.

    You have been duped.

  • mars, the "science split" is no myth, your "corporate lobby" chimera is laughable. the academic wannabe lobby has been shown to be a bunch of lying assholes.

    and you.

  • don't underestimate man's desire for money and the things he's willing to say for it and don't underestimate the things man is willing to believe because of apathy and indifference.

  • i don't underestimate the ability of young people to be misled by cynical, agenda driven academics and their fellow travellers in politics and the media.

  • @soakupthesunman

    excuse us for caring

  • I can't excuse you for making noise about stuff which you have NO CLUE about.

  • Comment removed

  • This is all doomsday propaganda BS. If we dont become a more marxist species and live in caves the oceans are going to dry up and the sky is going to fall down.

No scientific study has managed to link CO2 expelled by humans to any major earth crisis. Your religion is faith based and supported by dogmas easily disproven by educated people.

Those leaked emails did alot of damage to your earth church, now more people will see you as fraudulent faith healers and snake oil salesmen.

  • @jackbelias I have read science journals for decades, please check these out yourself.

I recommend newscientist website for a quick and extensive reference to most of the work published in this area in an easily available form.

The latest and most sophisticated models so far, produced by MIT, show warming is likely to be much worse than previously feared.

    Also please take the time to see this video;

    v=2T4UF_Rmlio

especially the second half, it explains the origin and funding behind the denial.

  • Activists release some religious material and youre impressed?

They delete data that doesnt support the tenents of the religion. Their studies are pre determined, thus not trustworthy. If they really considered all of the data they wouldnt have any religious doomsday propaganda to get you riled up with.

Go feel the power of JEEZUS MARX somewhere else. Im not going to live in a cave just to make the lawd god happy. Religious marxist BS isnt science.

  • @jackbelias You obviously have not taken the time to read any of the references I have given you to articles by the scientific community.

Even a quick search of science literature will demonstrate your position to be false.

Hitler too said that only he could save the German constitution from the fake left right divide. cont...

  • Ron Paul policy is the old segregationists with gloss.

pro inequality, for segregation, no welfare, no tax on the rich. pro private property rule, anti democracy, anti union.

corps stole your economy as tax cuts and bonuses.

What is a conditioned boss stooge if it is not the policies above?

just because someone points to genuine problems does not mean they are the solution.

The system is rotten, handing it all over to the corps will make it worse

Time for you to wake up.

  • Who do you think gets all of the money for carbon dioxide credits? You think the earth marxist religion isnt a business? They preach about the evils of private property and wealth while being the wealthiest people on earth.Reverend Gore for example was worth 8,000,000 in old family money when he lost the election. He became a reverend of the earth full time and collected over 90,000,000 in under 10 years. Look at his carbon print too. His private jet and deluxe power cruiser should be overlooked?

  • I dont need to. When I was in college the marxist vermin told us that the earth was going into an ice age. Carbon Dioxide was going to block out the sun and the earth was going to freeze by 1995 at the latest if we didnt give up on our selfishness, private property, and persuit of wealth. The earth didnt freeze in 1995.

Now its going to boil in under 6 months if we dont reach deep into our wallets and take the lords hand.

  • @jackbeliasx

The nuclear winter scenario has nothing to do with CO2.

Data for natural global temperatures is factored into models, these become ever better.

    C02 warming works like this.

heat is taken up by CO2 during the day, it is then re radiated at the night. when the atmosphere should be cooling.

Think of it as CO2 glowing in the infra red (heat).

It is a well understood phenomenon and has since well before 1995.

You are not literate enough to have been to college.

    Look at science sources.

  • I dont agree with the marxist youth church so I cant be college educated? Oh wait maybe us drunken injins just arent as smart as white trust fund brats. The guilt I feel for daring to disagree with your faith based BS religion is monumental. My god it makes me want to slit my wrists and lay down in a warm bathtub.

It doesnt work like that at all. The earth didnt freeze in 1995. It isnt going to boil either. Sell your faith healer BS to someone else.

  • If you tax me for expelling CO2 I can tell you that us warrior cultured inferior injins are going to be out for white leftist youth blood. We will make the streets run red all day. You might want to tell your fellow white youth marxist revolutionaries over here to go back to Europe ASAP because they arent warriors like their ancestors and we could walk right over them whenever we want.

  • @jackbelias If the USA had the same "high" tax as Europe, it is estimated that every single American would have been $11,000 better off during Bush years. Your right wing gives it all away to the corps as tax cuts. It should have been education and health. now your country is behind Do not tax regular people, cut their tax. Tax the 1% who own 95% very hard. Invest in new jobs too. pick each other up.. Robbin Hood. The rich steal, take it back. On this issue they have you fighting for oil corps.
  • Right and left isnt the issue here. Marxist pigs like you have become a large percentile in America. That is the issue.

How can one go from rags to riches if one is taxed extra for trying to do so? Everything your classist little church suggests only helps to build a two class society, a caste system the people cannot escape.

To you its ok as long as reverend Gore gets to buy a bigger boat and 34 more private jets. That should reduce his carbon print right?

  • @jackbelias Under the right you went from riches to rags, bonuses and tax cuts for 1% while the rest were robbed.

    Now look at you.

  • Comment removed

  • mars, you are absolutely full of shit.

    you're soaking in it.

  • @jackbelias in 15 years of emails, 11 were supposedly suspicious, 2 of which had wording which could be read as an attempt to weight data towards a particular view.

and one of those was about tree rings which used the word trick, which could be read both ways.

this is not indicative of a conspiracy.

  • They showed that the religion has corrupted science. Not every weather station is used in the marxist AGW camp, only the ones showing an increase in temperature.

We shouldnt have to fund any religion or church. If they want money let them beg for it like the other religions.

They have become a corp like the catholic church, billions go to their little camp and all they ever do is ask for trillions more. They have private jets, limos, deluxe estates, 120 foot power cruisers, Reverend Gore?

  • jack you're right, man's CO2 is insignficant. the noises being made by these clowns about "ocean acidification" by itself, is enough to make any clued-in person realize these people are full of wind.

  • @soakupthesunman Ocean acidification occurs because as Carbon is absorbed by water it forms carbolic acid.

The fact is that oceans are decreasing in the amount of CO2 they can take up and relatively will soon by at saturation and not able to absorb any more.

The scale of this is staggering.

We are fast approaching a point where human intervention will make no difference. the scenarios at that point do not bare thinking about.

    find out,

    this is important.

    stop using corp lobby trash.

  • mars the ocean CO2 issue is made-up nonsense. your constant referraal to "corp lobby" is laughabe. those "corps" spend a lot of money promoting "green laws".

  • @soakupthesunman Ocean ph data is available in a document titled

"Anthropogenic ocean acidification over the twenty-first century and its impact on calcifying organisms"

You should be able to find this on Google.

since the 1700, ph has dropped(become more acidic) from 8.179 to 7.824

  • mars the arrogance of any group that thinks it can attribute ocean ph levels to man's emissions is beyond chutzpah. FYI the oceans are as much a source of CO2 as they are an absobent. Oh, and don't tell me, I'll guess: if "we" don't stop our CO2 soon the oceans will reach saturation point?

do you know what greenhouse operators do to increase yield? why, they add CO2 to the greenhouse air. yup.

  • @soakupthesunman Fox news is by same ppl who do the news in China.

That is the line you push,

You knew something was wrong so you followed Alex Jones, he led the anti-war movement to obscurity and into the hands of the pro corp, pro private property elite far right.

it was a set up, the Bush b team.

    get a clue.

    You are being misled.

    turn on them hard.

support the genuine moves to kick the corruption out of politics.

for wealth creation and sustainability not blind unelected corp profit.

  • The undemocratic actions made during this climate summit was made by the people and leftwing activists who used the word "democracy" as an apology for promoting the climate issue with violence. Its not a crime to deny scientifical facts; its certainly stupid but its no crime. And if you cant respect another person's political standpoint on this climate issue, I think you are too blinded by your own ideas; using violence is never justifiable, and not justifiable because you have read a report.

  • @EuropeanStandards

Thats not true, guess you wasnt there?

I was there in that bloc, i got arrested for doing nothing, no one did anything when the police cut out our bloc.

  • mass Arrests? I didnt see any who the clowns who title this Fukin Videos.

waste of time protesting anyway. seems like Nothing gets done, although they say they are "working on it" that includes MOST countries in the world

  • I was one of them in camouniform helping

    the police..it was great. :-)

  • it must have been so hard for those protesters. I mean they must have be tired after walking or riding their bicycles to the protest. They wouldn't have used a car, train or even a plane to get there, would they??

  • 1:06 This has got to be the DUMBEST thing I have seen in some time! O.K. guys here's a tip: They lined up the trucks on either side to block the view of what was going on. If the group contained would have just walked away from the sides of the street, it would have made a wedge to get 300(!) past the line of 30(!) cops on either side. Then most of the crowd could have escaped, told the others what was happening, and regrouped!

Jesus, don't you have any strategy at all? Just march? Pathetic.

  • Dude.. they are just regular people marching for a cause.. not an organized militant group with tactics...

  • ....and therin lies the problem. These people wanted to make a powerful statement against the most powerful people in the world, but they honestly believed that the "organized militant group with tactics" were there to look out for THE PROTESTING CROWD'S best interest? Didn't they go to Protester School? I mean, Damn, Getting yourself arrested by lining up like schoolchildren when they tell you too is just you letting them take you out of the game! Cops have to act illegally to keep their jobs!

  • This is just a glimpse of what is to come. In the near future we will be living in a world very different from todays. There will be a one world goverment. Through it our unelected leaders will control every aspect of our lives and bring in a one child policy.Anyways back to the topic these protesters were protesting peacefully and they have the right to do so. Since when was it unlawful to assemble and protest against the goverment?

  • those sc "activists" in black (many of them wearing masks are just ignorant communist looking to start riots. I hope they got their head smashed by the police!

  • This bloc was a peacefull one, how by accident was nearby the black bloc, (how got away) actually there was a group of Krishna monks that was arrested allong with the rest. Another thing you dont hear is that the people here gor arrested without any reason, has to sit 3-4 hours on the street in the winter, wasent allowed to go to the bathroom, many peed in there pants, cryed out in pain and cold, and some was even underaged. this is crossing so many human rights that its silly

  • OMFG I would run over the police... they've no right to stall those people for so many hours!

  • i can tell you "praesten123" nothing is manipulated in this video, simply because i was there in a big group from Kiel "Germany". our shear mass could have exerted the needed preausure to foil this act by the police. i would respect you opinion if straightforward said " i am agaisnt this nonesense of climate change", instead of resorting to smoke-screen tactics and offend "computertorture".

My question: Have YOU been there?

    Wish all the best!

    egolentus

  • @egolentus You are right, but I just can't believe no one saw these kind of tactics coming! "Divide and Conquer" is one of the oldest strategies because IT WORKS as you can well see. Germans particuarly should be schooled in this, but maybe History teachers there don't say much anymore about the use of certain tactics in war. The police study the use of military plans for using force effectively. Why isn't there ever anyone on the protest side studying simple basketball plays to counter these?

  • or even tiddlywinks. yeah great comment.

  • Certainly be better than what they did do, which was nothing.

  • because we shouldn't need to. it is legal to demonstrate.

  • You know that, I know that, and the rest of the world who aren't world leaders, their yes men, or cops know this. Then the REALITY
