In Matthew 16, Jesus gave His church(people) an authority to forgive other people if they will. @eizeez, on Jesus, the Son being tortured.... In old days, they sacrificed animals for the forgiveness of sins, WHY? They needed an innocent blood to cleanse their sins & made righteous to God! Jesus is the only human who DID NOT SIN AT ALL, He has got an innocent Blood, for the forgiveness of sins for all men who put their trust in the Lord! If what they have used is not real version, that means they have been lying to you, all these time! Catholics have more books for they have included apocrypha w/c is a good source of info about d old church practices. hope u come to d one truth!
