@kevinfirstnamefinn you really are a worthless piece of shit. im sorry your parents were worthless pieces of shit just like you that didint know how to teach you any respect. its too bad youll never get to meet bill cause youll be rotting in the depths of hell. ive got an idea. and its a great one. GO SUCK START A GLOCK
AA might not work for everyone, but it will never cause any harm to anyone either. AA is totally voluntary, there is no compulsion to attend, no leaders to follow, no fees to pay, no rules to abide and no one ever checks up on you (except your friends who care for you).
If you have problems with AA, you must look inside yourself for the problem. AA is just a group of people who support each other in their efforts to stay sober one day at the time.
@tangonista But it will cause harm. It's also creepy. I went to meetings where the police had to get involved. One guy was throwing ceramic coffee mugs. Glad I left that cult.
It's really sad to see people get so upset and angry with AA. It worked for me and many other people I know and millions throughout the world. AA does not judge anyone for anything, and I've never seen in my 26 years of AA anyone ever being judged or upbraided for any reason. AA people only talk about their own experience and their own struggles.
@tangonista Nonesense. I have been involved on and off with aa for twenty years and yes at the beggining most people are very nice and seem like people you can trust. As they get to know you better they will start to become very judgemental of you.especially if you are struggling with the steps and not working the program the way THEY want you to. When this occurs the person starts to feel like they do not belong and they start to lose hope in the program. This is one example why one may quit.
@rjplamf61 20 years of *messing* with AA and still resentful. Like the book says: "Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty".. Truth!
@tangonista OK. Well I guess there are alot of people who are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Give a person whose self esteem and life has been driven down the toilet another reason to be hung up on themselves. Great program. Revolves around threats; If you do not do this or do that you are doomed. what bullshit!
maybe they didn't know you because you were dishonest in your telling "them" who you were. maybe-maybe all kinds of shit. you started stinking up the room here, so expect a retort like mine. it works for and has worked for hundreds of thousands of people. you were told the program the moment you showed up at it. you found your own way! good for you!, but don't shit on it. this is not your page to come and be negative. post a video about this crock of shit you know of, and they will come!! Winner
@muddack I was in that AA shit for 10 years and didn't get sober until AFTER I left. I'm plenty woman enough and I have taken a lot and kept on rolling. You don't know me and know nothing about me or what I've accomplished. You're the loser because you judge me, just like they did when they didn't know me. I have life without giving "eternal service" to a bunch of miserables. You don't put people down when they're already on the ground and expect them to get sober!

@rjplamf61 OK. you are right. AA sucks and it's an evil organization. I'm happy you don't need AA and everything is OK.
