Your filter basket does suck, but at least your whole basket thingy doesn't swing out of place while the coffee is brewing, thus filling up with hot water and not running through into the pot, thus, again, creating a dangerous dangling bucket full of hot (but could definitely be hotter) water hovering and swaying aimlessly and precariously and NOT brewing coffee. Grrrr.
Marmite is amazing, just don't lay it on to thick.
You don't need much to get a good taste of it, some prefer it with butter I like it straight.
It's definitely an acquired taste if you weren't raised on it.
