She was probably expected to do a 4 spin, as she had already made it sometimes, thats why she was wearing socks i think.

So do half the world's 16-year-old gymnasts, and not only those that are Chinese. She was the alternate to last year's Olympic team, so she close to 17 here.

Whenever i'm practicing on my gyms floor i never where my socks cause my floor is Gymnova and one time while i was practicing front handspring front whip front whip double front brani with my socks on i fell down on my brani exactly like Bross in AA finals

Just like Lauren Mitchell, I really love how she sort of dances out of her tumbling passes. I was very impressed with the artistry on floor of these championships!

@enpha87 -theres 2 ways to look @ that.....she looks like shes trying to hide unsteady landings....all the chinese do it.....no matter how hard they try you can clearly tell what they are trying to do.....they should be deducted...what happened to the new rule of women having to land like the men with no steps back???

Tim Daggett seemed so scared to see her in socks after what happened earlier haha. I always wear socks though but on a Gymnova floor I take them off because they're so slippery that when you land if you're not careful your feet can slip and you'll fall right on your butt! It almost happened to Steven Legendre in the men's floor final.
A lot of Chinese fans thought that Sui was going to make the Olympic team in 2008 but she missed out, can't wait to see so many of these girls in 2012!
