My case arrived today but the installation manual was missing. Did your case come with one? If it didnt could you tell me where you found one. I appreciate it.
@MrMountainproduction (1) Rear 120 mm mount and (1) Front 120mm mount. The side fan is 80 mm with blue LED. I am getting this case pretty soon and buying two 120 mm blue LED fans with controllers
Has anyone w. this case figured out what the the purpose of the 120mm fan mounting inside of the case in the front? As far as i can tell w. my case there is no opening or holes in front of the case to intake the air, although i have a fan to intake the air from the bottom of the case where the 80mm mounting spot is.
I'm thinking about getting this case but I've heard some bad things about the PSU. Some people have said that it died on them within four months, that it ruined their hard drive, and only really goes up to 300 watts. I'm planning on getting the ATI Radeon HD 4850 (250w at max) with Athlon II X3 445 3.1ghz (95w). Will it be worth getting this case ad will the PSU work for my build?
I got this same case for $ 35.00 on Newegg. Love it and have modified the hell out of it. Only difference was I got a black sateen and hard candy finish on mine (self painted). Good investment, good space for plenty of cable management. Check out my page for a vid.
just got mine last wednesday, it's a really nice case for only costing me $65 with shipping and taxes, the first one I bought didn't have the holes in the back of the mobo tray, and I like that the front panel audio and usb cords are flat and not round, they fit nicely through the hole and behind my mobo, thinking about drilling a hole close to the psu so I can route all the wires behind the back panel. i'll post a video if I make any changes, btw great unboxing, it made me want this case again
@MrChemicalTaste there are no "gt 280s" DFI lanparty P45 is an Intel LGA775 crossfire mobo, amd x2 3.1ghz oc'd to 4.0+ is going to be hard on a intel mobo, and you won't be able to sli your 280's on a crossfire mobo, 12gb of ddr3?.... you can get 4gb sets of ram 2x2gb ddr3, there are only 4 dimm slots so your max would be 8gb, or two sets of 4x4gb giving you 16gb. you can't do ddr3 on older am2 or lga775 mobo's unless you get the more expensive ones. and you can't do triple channel either.
I'm possibly going to purchase this case in black. I'm pretty excited. With the case I'm gonna get some filters for the fans because I have a little brother that likes to stick pencils into fans... The little prick.
hey, quick question, I had this case about four years ago, and was wondering now... does it still have the 80mm fan slot in the bottom of the hard drive cage? I remember having the 80mm and 120mm in the front blowing air right on my hard drive, i'm thinking about buying another case as I liked this one. I have an antec 300 right now and it works great but the lack of a side window makes me want to get a new case.
Yes and I just wanted to say thanks one more time, I got this case so I could fit all the other stuff I'm buying to make my rig better for MW2. MW2 may be a dissapointment, but the case continues to make me happy! P.S. Looks great

are there ventilation holes in the front for the front fan? and is it hard to install a front fan?
AllYouHearIsSwoosh 2 years ago
@AllYouHearIsSwoosh the front fan pulls air thru bottom of front cover, you can install a 120mm fan no problem
l2da6 2 years ago
Ah ok, thanks for your reply. I'm hoping to see a thorough and personal review of the case by you.
