@thecurse23 The police are trained to deal with life threatening situations so I can see how it is difficult to separate that defensive and suspicious instinct as that is the daily routine. It must be even harder when you are grossly outnumbered by what appear to be angry threatening hordes. If more time and training were given to the softer approach & interaction we would see alot less chaos.

While most of us were not there to witness what happened between Officer Bubbles and the protesters, what I have seen on the video tapes disappoints me greatly. Compare 'Van Doo' perimeter sentry Pte. Patrick Cloutier and Mohawk warrior Brad Larocque face off at Oka and you can see that Officer Bubbles lacks the professionalism it take to wear a uniform. Suing the world because of a few cartoons is stupid and further demonstrates that the man should not be an officer of the law.
