Definively this is a practice because the sun is at left in Rettifillo Centrale, that goes from north to south. Conclusion: this is a morning practice.
All these F1 videos, old and new, just give me more respect for these drivers. With the aid or technology or not, takes some amazing skills, and a "pair of nuts that reach to the floor" to race an F1 car. Awesome videos.
Fantastico. Che nostalgia di quella F1..
I agree that the aircraft-automobiles of today are just horribly ugly. So sad. Bringing back ground effect or eliminating aero altogether, returning the cars to racing cars, is not near at all.
great, the ground effect era; maybe F1 should reintroduce the ground effect to some degree, to clean up the mess on the skin (thousand of winglets) of the current F1 cars; anyway, the cars of that time represent for me one of the best compromises in F1 racing: great power to weight (that did not require expensive technology), decent aerodynamics and good grip; too bad safety was not on the same level
good vids

Lafitte makes really smooth moves while being on the limit, I love his driving style. If he had the right cars he could have been a champion.

I could watch this vid over and over again, Jacque's was such a real type driver and modest person too,
Im tired of all the dumb bragging of pompous US driver;s winning this or that,
smooth and consistant is where its at and not showing off to a car owner,
That Matra V-12 just howling away like there was no tomorrow,

The tree at variante Ascari on the right hand side would be a bit of an eye opener in todays safe F1 world!
