  • cool

  • wat heerlijk om naar te luisteren

  • does anyone know the key this song is in?

  • @tannerr96 Looks like A minor to me..

  • @shakeypitt Good question! I learned the chords to this in about 1964 from The Animals' version; that just happened to be in Am! But I'm not an improviser; I don't have the imagination, so I'm afraid I can't help you on that. But I've found someone who can!!

  • @shakeypitt alright thanks but ive been playing for about three years now and i never learned this but if the key of a song is Am does that mean there is a scale for Am and then you just play along that scale to improvise because im trying to figure out how to improvise now

  • @tannerr96 I've tried to send you a youtube link, but it won't go. If you put:-' House of the rising sun improv instructional video' (minus the speech marks), all your questions should be answered!

  • @shakeypitt alright thank you so much.

  • @tannerr96 Am is the same as as C major just with root note A

  • @MrLeejs26 And Amin doesnt have a G note, which C does

  • @MacDrevi0us if you are talking about the chord of Am then no.but the comment is about the key of Am which as you should know the 7th of Am is G.the scale ABCDEFGA. then the C chord CEG and Am AEC notes.

  • @MrLeejs26 Oh yes I am aware that the keys contain the same notes but I thought the question was about the chord.
