@Liairsoft1 Get DoW2 and Chaos, only this or all of them. DoW2 has 4 races and with chaos you get 1 more. In Retribution there's 6 races. I think you should just get all of them and play them in this order: DoW2, Chaos, Retribution. It's only 20€.

@fadedprofanity Absolutley!!! Its a little different then Starcraft, becuse you don't build building and structures, but you control units the entire time, its alot more action paced. which is not a bad thing by any means. He should enjoy this game alot. I sure do, and I play Starcraft as well.

ugh, this expansion is such crap. They STILL have a bug that wont allow any settings to disable your mic in the lobby. I have EVERY setting available on my pc muted, and it still shows me with a hot mic (this is a known issue). Single player is the second worst ive seen in a rts as well. At least multiplayer is better, but now its mostly turrets on small one lane maps :( what happened to the dow team? "A shadow of their former selves...'

what he failed to mention was that everything is more or less the same in all other aspects of the game, as in the multiplayer and last stand were all still there in the original.

so its basically a very short extra campaign added onto the original with 1 new race and replaying for the other factions is the exact same missions over again but you play as another instead. i only managed to complete 2 of the factions campaigns before i got bored

@love2punk No, but to be really honest you never have enough resources to build multiple stuff at the same time if you play really well. No base building also fits with the Warhammer lore. The current technology base of the Imperium is at least 10000 years old and newly discovered factories (and other stuff) are considered old relics.
