hm, I'm wondering if rangers are good just like assassins. assassins have a poor weapon choice, but they look cool when you can gather enemy souls for your power. but I still wish to have more weapons other than daggers and crossbow.

whats all this BS about conan requiring you to actualy aim at the enmies general direction and actualy play!? this guy is CLEARLY rotating the camera away from the target

uhm... he is rotating his CAMERA you said it yourself... his character is still facing his target... you can miss if you move your character a bit away from your target and then try to attack. do you even think before you type?

sorry let me clarify that a little, even if your targeted and facing the target you can miss if you face your character to far to the side

If ranger class zooms all the way in to first person view, you will get crosshairs that you can manually aim. In this view you do more damage. Also, you can choose which side to hit of your attacker, left, right, or center depending on the shielding position. There is alot more to it then this video shows akirosette.

Melee's can rape ranged, since they have charge and charge does massive damage.

And also Ranger can usually only take one mob at a time, or they just get downed so quickly.

Not sure if you have been told or by now since its been a month ago, but rangers are pretty cool. I have a level 27 ranger that I love. You really got to get past 20 to get the true feel of being a ranger, until you leave tortage your basically a rogue with a bow, lol. I still used my bow 99% of the time anyway just to get used to it. Your best friend is SALVO. Every rank has a different recast time so you can stack it, which makes us very nice DPS. By the time a mob gets to my feet, they die.

Just bought the game today and made a ranger hes lvl 14.... i can run the game on low settings and get anywhere from 15-30 fps

comp specs are

1 gig of ram

ATI x850 Graphics Card

2.0 GHZ 3200+ processor

And a good sound card that adds a little ram

As you get farther into it it gets even better!!!

before you buy it you must have very heavy pc, and 2nd Funcom is terrible at running the game, so many bugs and alot of crashes and glitches :)

Might be dude, that everyone doesn't record with game sound. Game cam lite needs to be payed for to get the Original sound, which sux. I wouldn't pay just to get Sound from the game, I'd rather put some music in the movie instead.
