@TheSeansaints Considering all the seats in a typical football stadium that are saved for executive members, special guests, etc. (i.e. not fans), I think Le Tissier deserves to get tickets instead of those guys! He's a proper ambassador for the club.

@kingpin6 theres an ongoing dispute between southampton fc and some club "legends". when we got taken over in 2009 our new chairman looked through the books and saw that some ex saints like le tissier and lawrie mcmenemy were getting paid about £400,000 a year as "ambassadors" for the club even when we didnt have enough money to pay staff. cortese said he was stopping this money because the club couldnt afford it and they werent actually doing any work in their roles.

@kingpin6 so tissier and others got pissed off because they werent leeching money out of the club they profess to love. and anyways matt is lying, he asked for 10 free tickets not 3, which the club said no to, because he had to pay like everyone else and why did he need ten?! as much as he is a legend he should stop mouthing off to the press, its doing him no favours.

i understand.if that is the case then tiss is wrong but they put it like he played there for years and they couldnt give him tickets for hard work. Southampton should make it known

Did Le Tiss get to go to the game because I saw him on Soccer AM and he said he was calling the Preston match but then ended up getting cancelled.
