Mr. Dalai Lama lives in Dharamsala, but local people do not have access to him.He comes out sometimes and is always surronded by big shots. This need to change. He is in Dharamsala so he should show the gratitude to the local people. I was there once and waited for more than 3 hrs just to see him and when finally he came, and took that BMW as was gone in seconds. I felt so bad.

Many people don't even have chance to see him... Guard, many travels show, that his life is not so easy. I think there can be many cases, that those who really needed his help did not receive it. Just because he's not God... And sometimes probably needs help too.

He teaches at least for a month a year where he live from from morning to evening (5 Hrs a day). Local Indians never even come to listen to his talks or teachings. Only Indian who come are businesman to sell their goods.
But people are coming from thousands of mile away listen to him. He has very busy schedule so he can't meet every Tom, Dick and Harry. He wakes up at 3am while most of us are in deep slumper at dawn.
Only intellectual Indians attend his teachings mostly in New Delhi.

The Dalai Lama sits on the front seat because his holiness wants to be a simple buddhist most and moreover the driver will feel more comfortable and can do a little chit chat if he wants to... Thanx, Estephano80 for uploading the video.. its always a full of blessings wherever or whenever we see His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
