He tried jumping back to dodge but it still hit him. The hakumen player probably knew Tager (because of his lack of air dash) was the only character that would get hit by this. Actually the Tager might have been able to invincible through it with a 720 (would take incredible timing) or he might have been able to poke haku out of it in time.
The sword is unblockable when fully charged. I'm pretty sure the energy wave it shoots is blockable always. At least with a barrier guard it is. I've seen people block a fully charged energy blast with a barrier guard.
Can you "block" unblockables with special moves, like Tager's 241B and Litchi's 41236D?

Lulz. Any Hakumen Player knows whether or not it's unblockable at full charge. Hell, Bang players should too since it'll slap their drive aside.

Or you could just look up the frame data. Fully charged, it's unblockable, even with instant/barrier guard.

yillin is correct. The sword part is unblockable will a full charge, but the wave is most certainly blockable.
