  • My perception is that the high kicks are part of his "individualizing" JKD. My understanding is that if you have strengths from other martial arts, or just something you're really good at, incorporating it into the core JKD routine is completely acceptable. The guy is obviously a great kicker, so why not?

  • wont mess around with thi guy

  • i thought that in jkd there where no high kicks (correct me if I'm wrong) didn't bruce lee compare high kicks to punches to the feet? looks great though, and good for flexibility,...

  • this guy is the best amazing do kicks

  • This is brilliant! I have been looking for a class which studies this kind of interaction around arm movements! If anybody can refer me that would be wonderful.

  • teach me!!! <3

  • Just move to Hong Kong and start eating rice already! lol

  • good POWER

  • if this was your head you're dead 3:11

  • lol @ 3:10 the guy made a funny noise like it got shot in the right arm with 50 cal

  • nice!! gives me inspiration

  • Great martial artist!

Amazing to see what hard training can do.

Thats the thing, hard work and hard work again, till u get better then you were.

  • Your power and your JKD skill's are just out of this world!!

  • an excellent video of you Emil and your students as usual. Thumbs up.

  • I have never seen someone as accurate, fast and powerfull all at the same time since Bruce Lee except you.

Man, you inspire people. Keep it up!

  • Great training Emil and greatest ambition! Your JKD is one of the best.

  • Awsome vid as always. And it just amazes me how powerful those kicks are. And your students seem just as skilled. Your an inspiration. Thanks for sharing and God bless.

  • very interesting. good job

  • as always simplicity leads to perfection perfection leads to beauty

    awesome video as ever

    keep it on guys !

  • Another excellent video. Nun-chucks are not a my favorite, flashy but not enough damage for a weapon.

  • @nyarltep lol what your right the are flashy. but if used with the correct stance and speeed...they fucking hurt.

i prefer, either stick fighting or ....nunchucks.

  • You sir are amazing and I hope to be as skilled as that in my respective arts when I am your age. Keep on truckin' man.

  • you guys do any sparring ...like bruce lee havin the first ever students to strap on gloves n sparin geear lol very good vid enjoyed it much

  • I dig all the angles it helps for someone like me hwo learns all they can from many subscriptsions and like I siad I like all the camera angles in this particular vid for example in the upper corner, and underneath the dummy, I liked it.

    "BOW"

  • awesome as usual my friend!

at 4:45, was that choke applied using bone of the forearm?

if so, that would cut off the air supply, right?

im sure you already know this, but the other variation(which is popular in UFC) cuts blood to the brain...you just have to place your elbow in front of their chin to do that.

...i also like to grab my shoulder rather than the back of their head. i then expand my chest and arch back...no arm strength required.

im sure you know all this anyway.

    thanks again bro.
