The floors are rated to hold a load of about 1500 tons.

A 150 c temperature difference from one area to another will produce yield level residual stresses, distortions and buckling failures. When the upper floors of WTC 2 collapsed the lower floors rated as capable of supporting 1300 t above their own weight simply couldn't resist the approx 45,000 t (10+ floors) kinetic weight falling on them.

Everyone arguing about the "weakened steel" seem to be forgetting that the steel was literally melting and pouring out of the building. So yes, the temperatures did need to be hot enough to melt steel. And they were not. Evidence of bombs is shown in the samples of the dust. I can't understand how bldg 7 could free fall without a plane hitting it, why no video evidence that a plane hit the Pentagon with so many cameras on that bldg and why the initial hole was only 16' wide with no parts of the 6000 lbs engines found, the lack of bodies and plane parts at the flight 93 crash site, molten steel at the base of the towers months after 911, how paper documents in the pockets (drivers Lic., I.D. cards etc) of the so-called hijackers were found unburned. All unanswered.

The floors are held by a bracket and 2 5/8th inch bolts. They are not designed to carry the vertical loads. That's what the columns do. But they're gone.
The floors are rated to hold a load of about 1500 tons.
Now we are going to ask it to carry a load of 31 floors? 180,000 tons odd.??
Good luck on that.

Simply looking at the collapse and understanding where that top portion of 31 floors is resting (Inside the ext columns) reveals a great deal.

@roquefortfiles Yes the unevenly spread fires actually caused more damage to the 18m floor joists. A 150 c temperature difference from one area to another will produce yield level residual stresses, distortions and buckling failures. When the upper floors of WTC 2 collapsed the lower floors rated as capable of supporting 1300 t above their own weight simply couldn't resist the approx 45,000 t (10+ floors) kinetic weight falling on them.

Reference Isaac Newton's law of Gravity. a brick and a 10 ton piece of steel will fall at same speed because that is how gravity works.

Everyone arguing about the "weakened steel" seem to be forgetting that the steel was literally melting and pouring out of the building. So yes, the temperatures did need to be hot enough to melt steel. And they were not. Evidence of bombs is shown in the samples of the dust. My biggest problem with the official stories behind all the major conspiracy theories is how incompetent the investigators are. How didn't the 9-11 commission even look for explosive evidence when most said they heard bombs?
