That's okay. Yeah I know it's a little confusing. Basically, the first part from 00:00 to 03:00 shows Tessa's life before she moved to New Jersey. Her mom and dad got a divorce and because she saw that her mom treated her brother better, she moved with her dad to New Jersey. From 03:00 and beyond is when she starts her new life in NJ, and she falls in love with Quyet and so on.. Hope this clears it up a bit.
