@powderpuffbb There is another tutorial that has this for a baby blanket as well so that you can start off with the centre being much smaller as well.
Great pattern Mikey.... and wonderful job of "tuting"... i did something similar starting with a circle, then doing the "corner" in 4 spots around.. adding a "granny 3dc" as the filler , with each row increasing... keep going and it's a PONCHO, cute for kids or grownups.. edge with FunFur and a ruffle stitch..Thanks for what you do for people wanting to learn, it's fantastic!
