Have you seen FCP playing in 2002/03 when they won the UEFA cup? Or Chelsea in the first season? Those were incredible attacking teams, not far from what Barcelona is right now. Against big teams Porto and Chelsea WERE NOT an attacking side; sure against the likes of Maritimo or West Brom they were all attack but against Arsenal, ManU, they were defending teams that counter attacked and scored from set plays. also in the second leg barca won 1-0 but should have been 2-0 as they had a goal ruled out for offside, which was the wrong call as replays showed it was just onside.
that would have made the score 3-3 on aggregate and barca would have gone through on the away goals rule.

motta was sent off in the second leg against barcelona, for a hand to the face, which in any case, any contact with the hand on the face of an opponent, is a STRAIGHT RED CARD.
in the first leg against inter, barca were denied 3 clear penalties, and inter should have had two of their goals disallowed. milito was offside when the ball was passed to him to score and maicon fouled ibrahimovic in the build up to another goal, which should have been a barca penalty.

Best team in the world? Pep had the exact same team that Frank Rijkaard had a season and two before. Rijkaard won zip in those 2 seasons.. We were nowhere near the best. He puts such a great effort in to making his players the players they are today. You know Pedro and Busquets? Of course you do, but, without Pep, you wouldn't. Without Pep, they wouldn't be in De Bosque's WC winning team.
Pep won the UCL with Barca twice, and no he doesn't need to leave to prove he's the best.

How can you say he sucks? I'm Barca-Fan since 15 years and i don't like Mourhino, but he's a great coach and i respect him. But Pep won in 3 seasons 11 titles. And if you think he has achieved that, because Barca is full of divers, you are totally wrong. Pep learned so much from Johan Cruyff, he played with him long enough to understand his tactics and this is the reason. Barca perfect their football. Just look at Ronaldo or Di Maria, they dive too. @Orgsgrym If you're a barcelona fan you can't really understand other team frustration, because it just didn't happen with Real Madrid, happened with Inter, Arsenal, Chelsea, Porto, MU and so on, they dive, they can't play football as other teams play,they are a good team, but without their tricks, they wouldn't be there on top. This is what they practice at training and this is what they are good at, diving and faking it up. Hope referees will be more careful, because diving ain't fair play.

I can understand the frustration. But, when you look 20 years ago, Johan Cruyff achieved almost the same result with Barcelona, when he was coatch. I dont think, that they dive. I just think, that football in Spain has become a little bit sentimental and Barcelona just learned how to benefit from that. So if Barca dives, Madrid does it also and every other big club in the world. Fact: Pep took the tactic of Cruyff to another level, thats why Barca is on the top, ;)

Pep didn't make up excuses like Mourinho does. No wonder all the big shots at Madrid are dissatisfied with Mourinho's madrid, Di Dtefano, Calderon, and Valdano. I can't believe that a team that once boasted the best attacking talent in the world (Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo) is parking the bus.

Have you seen FCP playing in 2002/03 when they won the UEFA cup? Or Chelsea in the first season? Those were incredible attacking teams, not far from what Barcelona is right now. Mourinho chose a defending tactic in Inter to honour the team's DNA and history - catenaccio. You keep ignoring his genious... he as been able to win inspite the tactic approach he uses.

@manniman82 Considering Porto's or every other portuguese team's budget, winning an european competition is at least 10 times more difficult than winning it with a Barcelona team.
Against big teams Porto and Chelsea were attacking sides. Chelsea 4-2 agains Barcelona for instance or Porto 4-1 against Lazio are examples of offensive potencial from Mourinho sides, Inter was defensive for sure and had a very defensive approach to the game but still managed to get a 3-1 vs Barcelona.

When he was at Chelsea, he came when Chelsea had just bought a lot a superstar players and when Lampard and Terry where coming of age. They where by far the best team on paper and Arsenal, ManU where in transition. If he wouldn't have won the league with that team it would have been a catastrophe. Abramovich brought him for CL which he failed to deliver.

Anyway it's statisticly proven that a player that products 50 or 60% under every other coach will product 100% with Mourinho.

@ziNdez Drogba was the player of the year in France with Marseille the year before, there was a bidding war between Chelsea, Real Madrid and AC Milan for him which of course Abramovich won. If you didn't know him, you didn't know football. Carvalho and Ferreira where brought from Porto. Again, there was a lot of offers for both of them by big clubs but ultimately Chelsea had a good deal as they both had just won CL with Mourinho. They where not unknown.

Exaggerate achievements. The guy was undefeated at home for 8 or 9 years in a row. Has record for points in the english premier league (95 points), number of wins and lowest number of goals conceded in one season. Has won 2 champions leagues with different teams. Won the the cup, champions league and league with inter. Won it all with Porto. Won a two european competitions in consecutive years.
I dare you name a coach with such a CV in just 10 years.
