My argument was abt comparing the poverty in the rural parts of the States to that of Nigeria (rural and "urban") I have schooled and been to rural parts in the US. But I came from a rural part of Nigeria and I know the difference. Out of 140 million Nigerians more than abt 135 million live in poverty, and don't forget that Nigeria doesn't have a middle class. My argument was abt comparing the poverty in the rural parts of the States to that of Nigeria (rural and "urban") I have schooled and been to rural parts in the US. But I came from a rural part of Nigeria and I know the difference. Out of 140 million Nigerians more than abt 135 million live in poverty, and don't forget that Nigeria doesn't have a middle class. Most of the Africans that are so eager to show "the other side" (which btw, only shows the reality of 5% of the population) are people have not had to go through it. I just wanted to let you know that for some people, Boko Haram and poverty is mostly something they read in the news. For some us, we live in the heart of the trouble. We have seen our houses burnt, churches ravaged, and friends killed...we know the feeling first hand and it hurts to hear someone else talk about it like its just another problem in the world.

@soulmanstan apparently in rural america its all "little house on the praire" untill you bring up the evidence to the contrary and when you do they go into survival mode and start spitting and screaming .. so what?. when they come on here its to make themselves feel better about themselves its not a big deal we are used to it.. i would take those type of comments with a pince of salt lol! we have to deal with resentment and dislike because we are who we are ...
