if a child chooses the jewish faith for himself, then allow him to choose circumcision, but its hardly freedom of religion to force permanent surgery on him, either at birth or 15.

Actually in mammals the *shaft* skin rolls permanently back during intercourse. ie dogs/bears cats etc, They don't have or use foreskin.
