  • Music is the best.

  • I will never get tired of this movie

  • Was Cortez the killer used as an instrmental in the movie?

  • best ever. I liked this more than dazed and confused

  • @wvboarder2005

this film was much more touching than daze and confused which was just entertaining

  • Seen this film countless times and it's my second all-time favorite.

Just watched the extended cut yesterday.

  • @theravenbard

Wow, I didn't know there was an extended cut! I have to watch that...it's also one of my favovrite films :)

  • @lulzwarrior Oh, you definitely do. Cameron more or less disowned the theatrical cut, because the extended version is MUCH, MUCH better.

  • @theravenbard What's number one to you?

  • @theravenbard what's your first all time favorite?

  • What a song.

  • Here are my favorite scenes from the movie:

    1) the airplane scene

    2) the scene when everyone sings Tiny Dancer in the bus

    3) the scene when William's sister bends over and says to him: "one day you will be cool"

    4) the scene when William watches the doctors take out the pills out of Penny

    5) the scene when Russel says: "I'm a golden god" and jumps to the pool

    6) the scene when William tells Penny that she was sold for 50 dollars and a beer

    Such a great movie...

  • One of my all-time favorite movies, so many timeless scenes, classic soundtrack, outstanding cast, talented director, perfect writer, amazing photographers... I just can't say enough about the movie that would express in how many ways it is great. This is one of the movies you will enjoy seeing time after time, by the way, because you find out so many things in the second, third, fourth time and even later... Like the fact that this song appears earlier in the film, in the background.

  • @Kidofrodo Once again I wholeheartedly AGREE!

  • I wish those Polaroids continued to the very end.

  • love the song

love the credits melancholic and happy

  • Carl, like his two brothers was one of the ultimate talents in music. He was a fantastic songwriter and one of the greatest singers who have ever lived. This is one of his many triumphs!

  • Couldn't agree with you more! I love Carl, truly (& unjustly) underrated.......as is Denny & the Beach Boys music as a whole=( But this movie definitely rocks!

  • this song is perfect. this movie is perfect. ah, everything is just perfect about the two.

  • What a awesome movie, really great...

  • so happy yet sad!! it's like the end to everything...the era..the people and the connection of human fragility..sigh

  • @blindfolddrive I can SO relate to exactly what you're saying, agreed.

  • @blindfolddrive wow, yeah...nail on the head.

  • @blindfolddrive

    wow so true lol

  • Not sure if its true or not but I heard its about losing Brian Wilson to Cocaine; when he got pretty fried out.

  • Cocaine didn't ruin Brian... acid did. (Well, "ruin" is kind of a strong word, since he's back on track now.)

  • I actually love you, i've been looking for the name of the song for ages! :)

  • I love these credits!

  • it's amazing

  • i had one of the greatest filmgoing thrills of my life when i heard this song at the end of the movie

god bless cameron crowe for that move and of course carl wilson & jack rieley for the song

  • carl wilson was great. very nice songs in this movie.
