  • your first mistake was buying a 250...

  • Are there seriously people that can figure out how to ride a motorcycle but can't figure out that you just thread a bolt into a hole? Also, how is this "the ghetto way"? You just put it in and turn!

  • what do those do?

  • hello guys.. i'm thinking of changing my 250r swingarm with another bike, zxr250 or may be 600cc (zx6 or R6). The question is, can it possibly done? i mean, can those 600's swingarm perfectly fit with 08 250r body frame. how about the monoshock? do i need to install those 600s into my 250r? thank you...

  • @najibudin8888 To get a wider tire? It's possible there is a kit for over 2000$ with is almost half the price of the bike, but its hassle free. but you can get the tire and accessories locally and send in your stock swingarm and the new one to a swingarm shop (found online) and get them to make the necessary changes. Hope this helped

  • @EleVenn28 $2000??.. hmmm better keep it with stock swing arm.. by the way, thanks for your response..

  • only one is an extension. and that is a 3inch 3/8 extension and the other "extension" is a 3/8 to 1/4 socket

  • Hahaha. Did the gloves come with the spools?

  • @maxtolan lol i wish

  • did he really have to wear gloves LOL!

  • @allysaackerman was already wearing them before so might as well lol

  • @allysaackerman was already wearing them before so might as well lol.

  • Thanks man, funny how the stands and spool makers seem to think everyone knows exactly what to do!

  • nice and simple. its also recommended to put some blue locktite or other threadlocker on the spools to prevent any instance of loosening from vibration or a drop.

  • okay thanks! :D ill do that

  • That was a good vid man.

  • thank you :D

  • what do these do?

  • Swingarm spools help protect your swingarm in a drop or crash, they also are needed if you have a rear wheel stand

  • Great vid, but I have to say... if someone can't figure out how to do this on their own, there is no hope for them!

  • lol =P

  • ok, I finally got my spools and they are 10mm, I got the stand also, I'll make a video of it all tommorow if all goes well with weather and everything... changing oil tommorow probably too...

  • Thanks, cant wait for the vids man :D

  • if the weather keeps up I'm changing the oil in my Ninja and doing all the maintenance work for the first thing in the book 1000km's (600miles) I'm about maybe short by a few but it won't hurt to do it anyway... I have to check in the book see what needs to be done but other than that... easy as pie... and of course I'll get it on video. I have my spools installed already so ya. I'll show then to you guys but thats it. I might explain how to install them (mine were a little different than yours)

  • awesome truo!

  • Thanks blaze :D
