why arre boosted civics on such low psi. like stock sti's and evo's both come over 15 psi and civic with an after markin turbo has like 12psi on high boost,,,,can anyone explain?

@kuenzcrispy STi and evo motors are low compression like 8.5-9 to 1 and si motors are like 11 or 11.5 to 1. Basically you don't need as much boost to make decent power

Also, according to Hondata, turbo setups benefit more from vtec kicking in at higher RPM's, SCs are the ones that need vtec as low as possible

Ur Vtec is a beast man! looks like ur vtec still cracks at 58 you running stock ecu? imma get flashpro soon too, its gonna be pretty awesome.. Hear any really good review on ur turbo and flashpro?

Actually kicks in at 3800 but what I think you heard was the turbo at full boost which makes it sound like its hitting a mechanical vtec. I have the Hondata reflash in a few weeks imma purchase the FLASHPRO and lower my vtec level to 2700 at full throttle

You can't run a turbo setup without a reflash, man. Hondata is almost a requirement.

Just wondering how difficult the install was on this? Any reliability issues you've ran across? And how much boost can you run with it?

Install wasn't bad man it would of been easier with a lift. Reliability issues? none man I run 4.5 daily and 8.5 when im racing something strong like an Z28 Camaro or a GTO. 10Psi is the safest to run on stock internals but im not pushing that until I get the flashpro which should push me to 460ish at 10psi
