So nice to see Ha again (circa 2007) on YouTube! I was in Sapa last May and got to know her and her friend (who appears at 0:39). Ha's hair, when it's down, is now past her waist and she is much more mature-looking (though still in Chinese Black H'mong attire to 'be unique') and has a lot of 'street smarts'. Once you get past the 'hard-sell' routine (as I did after I broke down and bought a H'mong mouth harp from her!), she is very personable, funny and quite sweet; I was glad to have met her.

Spent time in Sapa, the Vietnamese dont like these people becouse they can speak better English than them. But they make easey money becouse who they are. I never gave them money, bought them SOAP and TOUTH PASTE. I also bought them food. SAPA is a very interesting Spot.

You're wrong. This is the Cat Cat village 2km from Sa Pa, wich has a beautiful waterfall, but nothing else. So it is only for tourist reasons (you have to pay entrance, to visit the village).

Our Hmong people please set up markets in your villages and those tourists will come there and buy your goods. This way you don't have to chase or harrass they like that..because it is not nice. Our Hmong people please stay in your villages and open markets in your villages and let them come to you and your villages to buy goods from your villages.

I met her on my trip to Sapa too. She's feisty indeed but don't take that as a sign of unfriendliness. :) I love her. Ha took us to her home located 1 hour away from Sapa and cooked us the most heartfelt lunch I have ever had in Vietnam.

They are just playful little girls and they mean no harm really.
