  • That's sure is a nice strop.

  • @mesa401 thanks sir, wish i could take credit for the strop but i am just a user, strops are a very useful tool in making things sharp. thanks for watching

  • While I don't mess much with knives because of my knack for cutting myself, I enjoyed and learned from this video.

  • @MyHollowpoint you know thats funny, i have a phobia about cuts, when i first began sharpening i was a bit on the shy side testing the edges, i too cut myself, now i am an old hand at it, its very therapeutic to me. thanks for watching my friend

  • Nice video. I've always had problems, which I think is due to the fact I use Autosol, and finding leather that is decent has been a problem, because all the leather belts you get nowadays are coated with something and treated. I need to get some proper compound. Also I have found a leather belt suitable, stuck to a bit of wood but results aren't really good. It must be the autosol? And the grain seems to be course along one way and finer when you run your finger the other.

    Thanks for the video

  • @johnwoodz1220 i am glad that i could help you, thanks for watching

  • Wow I'm going to check out that four sided strop I've been stropping with a leather belt it's time to step up. Great videos thanks for the info.

  • @bxsickness my pleasure my friend

  • Bark River manufactures knives, not strops. The strop in your video is manufactured by DLT with leather provided by Sharpshooter Sheath Systems.

  • @lopezenriquea yes i know, i corrected myself in the comments section, thanks
