  • Skip to 1:08 to avoid the 10 year old revving the engine pointlessly.

  • Do you live in the U.S? some one said the 2.5 gt only comes in manual tranny. I drive a manual impreza now, but i have a partially torn miniscus and the clutch is bothersome to my knee. I was considering a WRX. But since i want to switch back to automatic, i figured a legacy gt would suffice, plus it has a nicer interior.

  • @MmaNcovers We're getting JDM/European models here, with the 2.5GT coming in with 5AT

  • @MmaNcovers USA has only the manual for the GT. Get the 3.6R..

  • how is 160 max? mph?

  • 1:05 I saved 1 minute of your life...

  • 0-100 in 6 seconds plus seconds very sad

  • thought gt's only come in manual tranny? what country are you in to get an automatic?

  • ok so skip to at least 1:00 unless you like watching the dashboard of an idling car.

Lol at the attempt to drop into 3rd gear at 140kmh!

  • And for the driver, try breaking it in first... That way you wont end up being one of those idiots that thinks Subaru is bad cuz u blew ur bottom end out at 50,000.

  • lol , in KSA the car can go up to 260km/h

  • why does the speedo just goes on to 180 km/h??? please answer me thanx

  • Your not shifting right, and supposedly, subaru tuned down 1st and 2nd gear by about 50hp for some reason. That's why you should get cobb ap2 and tune to at least stg1. So... 5th gen LGT is actually a lot faster than 4th gen. I'm pretty sure of that cuz I owned a 05 LGT 5mt li and now a 2010 LGT 6mt li.

  • Ill kill this with my 320 V6 Isuzu Off-road, WTF? I'll have a extra how many tons and still kill this 120-180 kms!!

  • im working in subaru company in dubai, max speed written 260km/h

  • ai least 220 kmh not 180...even a nissan pickup has more than that

  • I don't know if this is Canadian, i'm assuming it is. But if it's Canadian, we don't have good enough roads to remove the limiter. The problem with Subaru is that you get complacent by thinking the road is good just because the car is so smooth and effortless to drive. Truth be told, if you hit one of our cracks or bumps doing 200+, you would be in a tree in no time. The roads up here are ruined before they can finish building them. It's too bad, i'd like to drive a good road some day

  • Here we go:

    1. This is the old lady car that Subaru makes, it's made to get groceries, so if granny is goin 180 there's something wrong.

    2. This car gets from 80-160 in 9.5 seconds from 3 GRAND! at 2:08. That's crazy, and i'd like you to show me another car that can do that for $25,000 or less! Let alone it will do this till 300,000km on oil changes alone

    3. Finally, do that again in a foot of snow and you won't even notice a difference.

Nobody said its the fastest, but it's the best!

  • 180 km?wtf

  • buy a 335xi bro...it's simply better :D

  • wow that was effortless and so undramatic.. defn a sleeper

  • this is a giant thumbs down

  • sounds nice

  • This is not unusual. I have a vehicle that is capable of travelling at 145mph but it is limited to 115mph. I at the most only cruise at 55mph in the right lane here in the U.S., so this doesn't matter to me. This is the way I see it. Anything above that significantly increases your chances of either having an accident or causing an accident. If I have to be somewhere at a certain time without worrying about being late, this is what I do. I leave earlier. This works every time for me.

  • gt is great car

but with the auto trans they killed its power

we put it along wtih 3.0R spec b 6MT

    at 180 spec b flys

  • 速度違反です

  • wow that seemed really quick but smooth at the same time. Sucks though that you guys have speed limited to 180km/h. Our liberty's top out at like 250km/h

  • +1 for shitugly cluster

  • Shifted WAY too early......

  • すごくレガシィの速さは分かったけど、早く消したほうがいいと思うよ。

    同じスバル乗りとして、逮捕されるのやだし...

  • Well, duh, it's certainly slower if you leave 500 -1000 rpm on the table on each shift...

  • @GoCougsGoCougs As well as the driving scene of this movie, I carried it as general evaluation of 2.5GT. thank you.

  • @GoCougsGoCougs most engines loose a lot of power towards redline like a bmw 335i the shift point they suggest is 5800 because that is its peak hp then when u shift gears it drops down to peak tq at 4300 rpm this might seem like low rpms but this will get you the fastest 0-60 times. when people on youtube to 0-60 times they bring it up to redline because of what they see in movies & stuff real world racing is much more technical than movies. look up the peak hp on ur car. that is ur shift point.

  • @ColtonKuhn1 you are both right and wrong. After peak HP point, engine power drops down fast but the correct shifting point is teorically at the rpm, where wheel torque is about equal to the wheel torque for the next gear when you shift up. So you should go on the same gear for a while after the peak HP rpm. May be not untill the redline. The purpose is to keep the avarege wheel torque or the avarege power output as high as possible.

  • @onebreh yeah we are saying the same thing lol

  • wtf 180km/h

  • @surelooove definitely you right. It's hard to understand limit 180km/h. wtf

  • i heard those turbo are easily to tune 265 hp + + + ;-)

  • @surelooove why is that so hard to understand?

  • @surelooove Japanses Law, event the Nissan GTR cant go faster on normal roads. normaly the Europe/USA versions go faster

  • @surelooove very slow right?

  • @kenlili

You're an idiot.. let me guess, you either drive a Cavalier or a El Camino.. Either way ur slower and dumber.

  • @surelooove Japanese law.. Ever vehicle in Japan have to meet the "gentleman agreement" of 180km/h limit. Just like the German's at 155mp/h. Yeah! It's slow... and quite sad if you buy a powerful car and got it limited to only 180km/h. But some Japanese always try to take it off though, it depends. Especially to those who do illegal street racing.

  • @Ezalian *Every

  • God damn it! Better kickdown (80-120) then M6! Is this GT really stock?

  • This movie was played "3333" times, thanks all !!

  • max speed is around 245 km/h so why there's only 180 on it?

  • @prontoklasik

The Japanese car is designed basically so that a limiter system operates about 180km. It's a Japanese worthless law. Even if a limiter system was equipped with LEGACY, It's easy to perform more than 200km. LEGACY can makes around 260km by removing a limiter system.

  • @hidex04 I see..

  • @hidex04 We have it here in the Middle East, 260 KM/H is the top speed.

  • @hidex04 Legacy ('10, GT) didnt have speed limiter. You can drive around 260km/h in stock.

  • @hidex04 my sti tops out at 250km/h i doubt a legacy can do 260. i would say 220.

  • @immortal4942 nah i got 254 on mine.

  • I drove a GT today, then a Sports Premium, can't see the extra spend to be worth it to get the GT.

  • @dicedlions

There are few differences of specifications about "GT" and "3.0L".

"GT spec.B" is my recommendation. However, I don't know whether there is a lineup of "GT Spec.B" in a country except Japan.

  • @dicedlions way way better stereo is one, maybe heated seats depending what country, bluetooth integration, satnav, reversing camera plus a few more i think

  • @fxgtz All LEGACY has value as he says. thanks fxgtz.

  • Thanks for ur comment.

No, I'm not mad :D It's just machine test.

  • Great!!!!

    are you mad?
