umm actually no. the 370 looks like a custome made 350 . its not like the new Nissan GTR i mean if u looked at the old one you will see the difference but between 350 and 370 its like u hand the 350 to some fat american and made it abit wider and put on it those crazy front and back lights .. PS i drove the 370 its nicer than my 350 ( before modifing ) but 350 is smoother and it has this charisma going on all around it !!1

I would love to see a timed road test of the auto. No one ever tested the 350Z as an auto that I could find.

My 6sp touring is paid off and I am thinking a turbo kit would be a lot cheaper than upgrading to a car that looks so similar and starting over payments wise.

If you want to turbo your Z then you should look into getting the APS TT setup. Running at 19psi it had 534hp/474tq check out the video and see if you like it, type in watch?v=2arSmOQwnZ4

19 psi may be a little more radical than I might need but i am sure they may have milder set ups that may not grenade my engine as fast. I'll check it out. Thank you.

You need to build up the eninge first if your going to a turbo set up, the engine can handle only 400hp stock so mighty as well do an engine build up cause you probably will down the road anyways with a turbo set up

That was the approach I took with the Ford. Figure out what power level you want and pick a system of parts that'll get you there. Back then 450hp was plenty. Now to make any big gains a lot would have to be changed. No need for lifted head gaskets and blown trannies.

it all depends on the car. the automatic in this car is excellent. the automatic in RX8 or WRX is shit. some sports cars only come with automatics now, GTR, ISF, AMG etc.

some cars are quicker with automatic these days, believe it or not. remember this car has 7-speed auto vs 6 speed manual. so the 7speed has the advantage from shorter gearing, smoother shifting. I believe the G37 sedan automatic clocked a faster time than the manual. but i personally prefer a manual too. i just like the feel of shifting and clutch action.

Not really just because it has more gears it doesn't necessarily means that it is faster.Its actually Bad for you Fast drivers. it might give us better and smoother Shifts but 7 Speed Gives you disadvantages as well. 7 gears means Less power in each gear. i will have longer Power on the gears.

i dont see how 7 speed has a disadvantge over 6 speed. more gears means shorter gearing and shorter gearing means quicker acceleration in general. so I dont get what you by 7 gears means less power?

They really tried too hard with the interior on the 370z. Too much crap, looks tacky. The 350z had a basic, functional sports car interior that was comfortable enough, but not overdone. WTF is with the hoods on the gauge cluster?  And that steering wheel? This is a great car performance-wise, but as a long-time Z fanatic, I don't like the looks as much as the 350z or some of the older Z generations. They're losing me with the gaudy styling and interior bits..
