The cars probably wasnt totalled menaing no insurance money. The car probably needed to under go some extensive washing and repairs. But no insurance money was probably given out to him. Just a slash on the cars existance and on the stupididity of the driver. was probably repaired and back out on the street in less then two weeks. Of getting everything needed to repair the damn thing LOL Prolly needed to wait 6 months for the parts though

if the engine sat above the waterline no water wound have entered the engine. The only way it can enter is throught he intake or through the exhaust. So if the exhaust port sits above the water line your ok, and obviously if the engine ran for 15 minutes while it was in the water then the intake was above the waterline. So the engine may be saved, but yes the interior being italian leather would be fucked. A very nice car, at least it was. But it may not be as bad as you think

The car actually took the impact pretty well. I've seen similar accidents and the vehicles suffered quite some damage to the front and lateral panels, even at low speed. This being a super car, I'd expect it to desintegrate. But no. Well done Bugatti!

Very Expensive to repair!!! Hydrolock, is a seized engine. If he by chance knows how to work on cars? that will save him a boatload of $. This is an exotic car! Not a general car collector.
