I am in love with my macbook and my iphone. I love my girlfriends android phone. Im now in love with this windows 8 tablet and also the windows 8 phones.
I don't see windows 8 taking off. I couldn't do my school work on that. It would be too hard to manage the 8-10 windows that I have opened all the time. and besides the start menu I don't see any more changes from windows 7.
if this tablet will come with a USB port then i am surely gonna buy one happily because i can connect my external HDD's and print documents from my Hp printer at times... ! i mean Windows 8 Tablet will be the most flexible and powerful Tablet rocking Core i5 and its awesomeness... @_@ just cant wait

I don't see what the issue with W8 is. Looks pretty damn sweet to me, and if you don't like it then there's always the regular old W7 desktop built right in, so if you liked W7 then regardless of if you think W8 will be good or not shouldn't matter.
I'm all for Android but this will end the tablet war between IOS and Android although neither was meant to be a standalone but to operate along side a PC while this could totally replace a PC.

Windows on ARM is near identical to Win 8 on x86 apart from desktop software. With the Metro UI as well, all MS products, including their sites and Xbox are starting to use it. I think it's only a matter of time before Apple copy Microsoft by having one OS or UI that runs on touch screens and desktop PC's (but as usual Apple will act like they did it first).

To all the dummies out there. Win8 uses the i5 for flexibility. That way you can run all your legacy apps(actual win7 software) on it. Try running Photoshop on a Tegra2. WinMobile7 proved what MS can do without trying to go legacy.
Dude....if that thing can install windows apps....it can run android inside too just like you do with an android emulator....so its a better device...
but still if it had an option to boot between android and windows 8 that would have been better....
The cool thing about this shit is that you take it wherever the fuck you want, and at home you just sync your wireless mouse/keyb/controller and maybe a big monitor and use it as a regular computer.

The cool thing about this shit is that you take it wherever the fuck you want, and at home you just sync your wireless mouse/keyb/controller and maybe a big monitor and use it as a regular computer.
That would be perfect. Let´s see what they will come up with.

Ha, if I can recall Microsoft mobile was out 3.5 years prior to any mention of the iPhone, just wasn't successful, tabs running xp have been used since the turn of the century in the medical field. To the apple fanboys , jobs was a good innovative man, but as everyone around him knew, he was incredibly egotistical and if he didn't think of it, it was stolen from someone else because no one else has imagination according to him

im an apple fan all the way, but i have to say, thats pretty cool. the only reason i dont like windows is the layout. plus its laggy. but the overall design of the os is pretty cool.
