Abbey was one of the best characters on the west wing. The scenes with her and the prez were golden I wish there had been more. I especially love her in the shadow of two gunmen.

This is a beautiful video, Abbey was such a brilliant, strong female character, definitely a rarity in television. I adore Stockard Channing, I think she's one of the most talented and underrated actresses of this generation, plus she's gorgeous. Anyway, again, wonderful job! :)

Stockard was great as Abbey Bartlet and nobody could have ever played her better. I always thought when they wrote Abbey, they had Stockard in mind--Abbey fit her so perfectly. I can't imagine anyone else calling Martin Sheen "Jackass" like that=P

Sorry, I'm an idiot--I meant the scene in 2:59-3:01 where Abbey and Jed seem to be all dressed up formally or something--Abbey in really expensive looking jewelry and Jed in a tux...I haven't seen that clip, I don't know why. Can you help me? Thank you!=)

That one is from "A change is gonna come", in season six. When Jed tells Abbey that he's having serious complications due his MS. That episode is right before the one with the summit in China. I think "A change is gonna come" marks a milestone in the show because after that Jed is never the same again.
