  • how hard is it to replace the crank in these old briggs

  • @fogt1430 Not hard at all if you've been around small engines for a while. If you're at all unsure about doing it, then try to find someone close to you that can walk you through the process. There ARE a lot of measurements and tolerances to work within, but the actual physical removal is about a 30 minute job once you've done a few.

  • Is this similar to the engine removal on an AC 314H? She needs a governor.

  • @slowride55 Pretty much yes. The frame of the 3-400 series Allis is different, but the mechanics are pretty much the same.

  • @oologahan Ohhhhhh.....it's on now!! lol......I have a soft spot for Kohlers....swamp land where they sink very slowly...lol. Hope you're well my Friend!!

  • Zippo I have that exact same lift. It belonged to my farther. He was paralyzed and we used this to get him in and out of this chair. You are right it is one of the greatest tools I have around the place.

  • hey Bro! this for parts or a runner?

  • @Simplicity885 Parts Bro! And some good ones too. This originally had a square tank hydraulic lift that Bryan scavenged from it and it had been sitting a LONG time. I got the 23D up and running. It's in another video. Later Bro!!! Good to hear from you!!

  • Well, that's kinda easy to remove the engine of the tractor.

  • Great video, lots of great tips

  • I had a fiber disc scatter on me this summer. :) sure was loud and dramatic ! little pieces of fiber and washers / bolts flying around under neath . ended up bending the driveshaft but I robbed a machine that just became my parts source and got back to mowing in less than an hour.

  • hope you an your mom start to feel better buddy.

  • @boonecrew54 Thanks Bro! It's hit and miss with us..lol. Don't grow old man......it sucks! lol Hope things are good for you down South!

  • @TheOldGuyPhil no i didnt say that lol Sean said dont grow old lol.

  • @TheOldGuyPhil It's great to have you on board Phil!!! All kinds of videos on all kinds of stuff. Gotta love it all!! Cheers!!

  • Nice to see you again Zippo!

Great job with this. I had the same thing with the drain tube for the rear end on my Suburban. The drain tube goes right through the frame, but I was able to wiggle it out.

That actually looks like a very similar engine to what I have too.

    Nice job bud!!

  • @mbyr31 Great hearing from you Matt!! What new projects are you working on these days? Hope you and the family are all doing well! Cheers Brother!!

  • @ZippoVarga Hey Zippo, I have an old Monkey wards that looks like a 64 landlord. I have all of it including the mower deck.
