i believe north america is the only area that actually likes big suvs ( true 7-8 seaters) but they all lack in common technology. The escalade lacks much technology while the navigator is better but not much. While european and asian companies have oustanding features. EX: the audi q7 offers a panoramic sunroof, active cruise control,and impressive fuel economy.
I work at Meadowood Napa Valley Luxury Resort, and all they have in their shuttle fleet is Chevy Suburbans, GMC Yukon XL's, and Caddy Escalade ESV's, I wish they'd broaden their horizons and pull some gorgeous Navigator L's into their fleet.

@MySamisbest actually, there is no low range. it just has high range, and i believe it has an automatic awd setting, which works the same all most others in this class.
Well I have three navigator and my brother has the 05 and 09 escelade I have the 1998 2006 and 2011 navigator but I must say I'm not a big fan of the 2011 I favor to tue 2006 it's flashy but not over exagrerating the car I love my 1998 navigator to it's just awesome but I'm thinking about goin to get the 2011 escelade esv platinum over the 2011 navigator

While a good competitor to the BEST full-size luxury SUV ever produce it's still no match to the Cadillac. If it was, it would be in every single movie, TV series or had rappers rapping about it instead of the Escalade. People who go for this SUV are those that cannot afford the Escalade OR it's brother the Yukon/Yukon XL Denali.
i like the interior "thene" a lot, overall i find the navigator very appealing, i'm curious what the next gen. will look like, the fron fascia is definitely a big hit and should generally be kept, only the tail lights and the overall rear could use some remodelling done to it.

My wife and I just bought a specially made 2010 Navigator and we have 3 kids! We LOVE IT!!! I would recommend it to any one! Before we had this my wife had a 2008 Cadillac escalade ESV
I made her get ride of it because of the way it rides we got a Tahoe! I love this car and will have them the rest of my life! :)

i have that exact model, but with the bench second row. I like the fact that it has selectable 4WD and auto 4WD i think it saves gas over the Escalade's AWd.and i luv the heated and cooled seats. my favorite:)
The navi is more unique i don't like either but the escalade is sooo fucking primitive. Live rear suspension, pushrod engine no fold down seats have to take them out and they weigh a lot. the only thing its got going is its bling factor nothing more. There's plenty of better vehicles out there for the price tag.
Ru stupid? a fully loaded Navigator L is 22k less than the fully loaded Escalade ESV. And the Escalades Nav system looks stupid and incomplete. And the Nav has auto folding seats in the 3rd row and the ESV's seats have to be taken out!!! And the only thing the ESV has that the Nav doesn't is rear heated seats.

I personally own an 07 Gator and and have driven the new escalade since my dad has one .. I personally love the navigator its quite comfortable having a full third row and pretty much everything is easy to use .. it might not be as quick as the escalade but its definately quick for its weight ..this video says it weighs 6200 pounds but it actually weighs 7800 pounds .. all in all it depends what your looking for .. I personally chose the Navigator and am completely happy with my choice
The Front is horrible but I have to say the rear and side looks a lot better than the slades. But the whole car needs to look good and the front looks horrible. But Lincoln Navigator 09 is getting 423 hp V8 6.2 L boss engine much better than the Slades.

man,that grille is frowning on that truck.the only thing i like on this truck is the floor-shifted automatic.the Escalade needs this,and fold flat third row to be a perfect SUV.Cadillac alreay has 103 horses more than the Navigator,and not to mention,optional 22" wheels.
I like the Navigator, it needs more power though. I think from the Sides and Rear it is better looking then the Cadillac, the interior isnt quite as good as the Cadillac.
Nobody likes this car anymore, sinc ehtey compare to to the Escalade. They should compare it to the Yukon Denali, since the new ones start at $47K-$53K(Lvaries)

First, the lows. The Escalade ESV looks better outside and has a nicer front dash in my opinion, plus it's 6.2-liter is just excellent .....

You should do your home work comparing the Navigator to a GL Class is like comparing apples to oranges. The only competitor to this vehicle is an Escalade and the Navigator is head and shoulders above the Escalade

i have that exact model, but with the bench second row. I like the fact that it has selectable 4WD and auto 4WD i think it saves gas over the Escalade's AWd.and i luv the heated and cooled seats. my favorite:)

The navi is more unique i don't like either but the escalade is sooo fucking primitive. Live rear suspension, pushrod engine no fold down seats have to take them out and they weigh a lot. the only thing its got going is its bling factor nothing more. There's plenty of better vehicles out there for the price tag.

Ru stupid? a fully loaded Navigator L is 22k less than the fully loaded Escalade ESV. And the Escalades Nav system looks stupid and incomplete. And the Nav has auto folding seats in the 3rd row and the ESV's seats have to be taken out!!! And the only thing the ESV has that the Nav doesn't is rear heated seats.

correction: Navicrapper, call me a hater, i don't give a shit. BUT, i do have what i want, and thats an escalade. the navicrap doesn't even have a power upgrade from its even worse sister, the expedition. its pathetic, the only difference is a little more chrome, and lincoln badges. the denali is WAY diferent than the escalade, learn your facts. the nav can't live long even if it wanted to, since its made by ford. and you must be 8-10, look at your spelling,stop wasting your life on the crapper.

well the thing that they didnt talk about is about the offroad ability on the Navi. even though its a Navi, you really dont expect a Navi pulling a trailer or hitting the mud as to a Land Rover LR3 or a Benz cuz its just a weriid thought or feeling

I personally own an 07 Gator and and have driven the new escalade since my dad has one .. I personally love the navigator its quite comfortable having a full third row and pretty much everything is easy to use .. it might not be as quick as the escalade but its definately quick for its weight ..this video says it weighs 6200 pounds but it actually weighs 7800 pounds .. all in all it depends what your looking for .. I personally chose the Navigator and am completely happy with my choice

The Front is horrible but I have to say the rear and side looks a lot better than the slades. But the whole car needs to look good and the front looks horrible. But Lincoln Navigator 09 is getting 423 hp V8 6.2 L boss engine much better than the Slades.

But you can buy aftermarket parts for the Expedtion and they fit the Navigator to

man,that grille is frowning on that truck.the only thing i like on this truck is the floor-shifted automatic.the Escalade needs this,and fold flat third row to be a perfect SUV.Cadillac alreay has 103 horses more than the Navigator,and not to mention,optional 22" wheels.

I like the Navigator, it needs more power though. I think from the Sides and Rear it is better looking then the Cadillac, the interior isnt quite as good as the Cadillac.

i have noticed that the companies that make these kinds of vehicles do not call them trucks for some reason. They always referr to them as SUVs. i don;t know why that is. everyone calles them trucks but the makers them selves do not they always call them SUV. I really find that strange.

When i drove my Escalade that i had on a test tract at 100 it felt like i was drive 60 down a dirt rode it started Shimming not something i am looking for i am car!
