Definately not, TheJAYza, dude first bike should be light, a new rider cant control a heavy bike and should start off with an easer to control bike. Yea driving fast is dangerous but you cant be responsible for other drivers so when youre obeying the speed limit and someone switches to your lane without looking.... whats the point?
Geez, any bike is fine as a first bike, infact the better the bike the better, squids don't need to dick round with cr@ppy brakes & sticktion'y forks on some pre-abused SV - All you gotta remember is there's only 1 John McGuinness, only 1 Fogarty, only 1 Rossi, and if it's yr first bike you aren't any of those guys. OBEY THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT & you'll be fine.

naww i wish i would of bought a 1000 now 750 doesnt have the power down low compared to a 1000 i guess thats the way we do things down here go big or go home
way smaller than r1, about the same size as all 600cc bikes but almost the power of all 1000cc bikes! Awsome bike, i love mine, but deffinitly dont recomend as first bike. buy a used sv650s or katana for cheap then move up from there after at least 3000 miles of riding! good luck
