  • Don't Forget About Roswell, which moved to UPN, the following season. and The Jamie Foxx Show got cancelled at the end of the season.

  • I wasn't invited to this party........

  • I miss this stuff my wife didn't see any of it until we got netflix and now she's hooked on all the shows from the wb on there!

  • i miss the WB it was my fav station now tv is kinda dead they need to bring out more shows like these

  • This is like porn for us 90's kids. Haha

  • Omg- those were the days! I really wish I wasn't only 7 when this aired!!

  • So old school, love it

  • @dylderek123 Supernatural was on The WB

  • This is my generation!!!

  • The shows for this season (from what I can remember) were: Charmed, Dawson's Creek, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Jack And Jill, Young Americans, Nikki, Popular, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, The Jamie Fox Show, Felicity, 7th Heaven, Angel and I think that's it... Oh what a night! LOL I miss those shows.

  • whats wrong with everybody! I was only 7 and I still remember this perfectly. don't let the crap of today push out the memeroies of yesterday.

  • @Justnotthesamegirl This is the only promo I remember from the WB. Made me fall in love with the song too :)

  • Whoah, that last note on the piano at the very end never fails to put a little tear in my eye. So beautiful.

  • Damn whats gunna happend after One Tree Hill ends, there will be nothing left that was connected to the WB,like there will never be another Gilmore Girls, Buffy, Roswell, Dawson's Creek

  • @dylderek123 Ah I just realized that I wish they put more wb shows like Roswell , Charmed Buffy ,Angel Dawson Creek, Felicity and etc.. on the wb .com website.

  • I remember watching this ad at nine years old roughly around the 2000 switch..

  • how come katherine heigl wasn't on that much of this advert.

  • This promo always freaked me out for some reason.

  • Man I'm gonna miss onetreehill when season 9 ends that'll be the last good show on channel 9 ever

  • This was back when television shows had some substance not like the shows that are mass produced now. Popular, Angel, Charmed, 7th Heaven, Dawson's Creek, Buffy, and Roswell. I miss these shows and what the true WB stood for.

  • @Rebel774 Well written and so true. WB was the best!

  • OH GOD... I totally remember this promo. I wished so badly that could be there!

  • you know I use to love wb and getting all the great shows that was on there some of them I got on dvd but out with the old and in with the new times have change that was 11 years ago. I think the only show that is still alive is going away this year at that is smallville it make me long for the days of wb and now teens have cw and yes some of the shows are crap the only show I see is supernatural and thats awesome. But go got to miss all those great shows on that network.

  • Forget Hellcats, One Tree Hill, 90210, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Smallville, Gossip Girl and the worst one ever Nikita. These shows suck. I wish they would at least put these old TV shoows as RE-RUNS on the CW, these were the best TV shows for teens.

  • @hdna12 hey smallville does not suck its awesome and made Wb better. But your right they should show the old shows at least on saturday nights starting at 5

  • @THENYCBALLER Yeah but instead they put American Dad And the worst one ever Two And Half Men! Man I miss the late 90's wish I could go back.

  • The era of the teenage sitcoms.... With actual drama and not just so much about sex..

  • wow...that made me "homesick"

  • Oh WOW! I've had this promo in my head all week. I forgot how much I loved these shows... I completely agree with Sblachly. It DID feel like family. Shows had a lot more heart then, than today's shows.

I remember getting home from school, doing my chores, then choking down my dinner as fast as possible because I just COULDN'T miss my weekly dose of Charmed (I missed out on Dawson's Creek, and after watching reruns I found that I could've been into it.) Lol. Good times, good times.

  • it also had a awesome saturday morning lineup with batman/superman adventure, men in black, batman beyond, freakzoid, and so much more. this network truly defined a generation

  • I was just looking at the crap that's on this channel now & thought of this commercial. Glad to see it's on here.

  • I miss The WB

  • I wish David Boreanaz would crawl over me instead of Shannen Doherty.

  • 10 Years later and I still miss those days and these shows, now that they are gone. Well, the ones I was watching at least. It really was a fabulous little mini-era for young adult television. Thanks for the fun, WB. You are missed.

  • Blonde girl at 1:33 is Anya from Buffy, right?

  • @a55kiker yup ur right on :)

  • @TheHelena960 Thanks. My wife tried to tell me it wasn't. I'll show her you agree with me.

  • oh the good old days! i was in 8th grade! :)

  • oh yeah, 2000, that was the year Sabrina moved from abc to the wb. and Popular, man, that used to be my SHOW! after TGIF ended in 2000, th wb was my new Friday night spot.

  • cool!!

  • The best promo ever still can't believe that the wb is no more all those good memories wish it could have stayed that way forever ...

  • I Love this Promo

  • I don't think there was a single week night during this time that I didn't have a show I need to watch, this was when the WB was at it's greatest! My god, I still have tapes filled of Buffy, Dawson's Creek, Charmed, Roswell, and Popular...and I even watched 7th Heaven, but that was more because I thought it was too fake and kind of funny...

  • god I fell so old I do miss the WB it sad really I do like the name change to CW but it not the same without that frog dancing around and all those great shows that have now going it was the good old days for me late teens early 20s I love seeing those shows but now I am in my 30s I do not get in to them as much as I did so I just miss the WB that all.

  • Makes me wana party with them! Lol, i miss the WB! :(

  • i was only 10 when this came on, so why do i have a vivid memory of this commercial out of the millions of comercials i have seen in my life...

  • OMG thank for the video!!! i remember how much i watched it back in 2000!!!

  • I so miss this era

  • Question, how'd you get this video to upload it?

  • One of the best tv promo spots ever. I remember it well. Thank you.

  • no but i think smallville still continues its run

  • @kseromore

Yeah Smallville is still on its first run. Smallville's 10th/final season starts on Friday, Sept. 24 and I can't wait! Man I missed the WB. I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed (the first few seasons), Roswell (pieces of it but didn't really care for it), Smallville, and Birds of Prey on the WB.

  • @kseromore

Oh the funny thing is that my WB also had Star Trek The Next Generation's reruns, Star Trek Voyager, and Star Trek Enterprise since I didn't have a UPN until the last 2 years its existence before it merged with my WB to become the CW. All Star Trek (The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and some of Voyager) from the late 80s and 90s used to be on my FOX. I even had Stargate SG-1 on my WB even it was a Showtime/the Sci-Fi Channel series! Lol.

  • @TheStarTreker My WB had Stargate SG-1 too and it had X-flies

  • i agree with many of the posts here the wb defined 90s teen and a whole generation of young adults. I can only imagint this promo must have been soo much fun to do. just imagine getting all those people together in one spot. makes me wonder if there was a complete list of everyone who was there. and who was there and just didn't make the cut for some reason.

  • the wb is Iconic to a generation<3 :( i missed it soo much :(

  • Shannen thinks David Boreanaz is hitting on her but he's probably just looking for a good spot on her neck to bite (which then will be followed by having his ass tk'ed onto whatever table the 7th heaven cast is sitting at). Ok maybe not lmao. Killer tv show line up back then though, and overall feel good promo. Thanks for posting!

  • aw... I love these promos so so much!

  • holy CRAP i remember thissssss. Im positive they would be using "I Gotta Feeling" for these promos if WB was still around.

  • don for get smallville

  • There will be no mentioning of the CW

They ruined TV as I know it... The WB was

Lightning in a Bottle I loved DC and Roswell, Young Americans, Popular, I used to record all of them and watch them

at 3am when i got home.. I miss those days 10 years ago was this Promo wow!!

  • happier times, happier times.

  • God, this network DID define a generation. The golden age of teen television - and wow do I miss it. There will never be a network quite like the WB. It truly felt like a family.

  • Back in the day....woah. When did I become eligible to use that phrase?

  • I know right. So many things have happened/changed since we were little that we've becomes "back in the day" eligible. lol

  • haha! I know! can you believe we 90s kids are all grown up and adults now? it's hard to get used to it.

  • @kay2be2

    I'm a 80s and 90s kid. I got out of high school in 2002. :D

  • @TheStarTreker

    I graduated in 2008. So, I'm a 90s kid/00s teen

  • in your comments you say there are the one from young american? i haven't seen them, tell me if it's true!

  • who sings this version of "Oh what a night"????? i want this song.

  • It's Vitamin C who's singing this version.

  • whats the actors name who plays booth in bones and what show is he in on that video?

  • his name's David Boreanaz, and he is "Angel" in "Buffy, the vampire slayer" after that, he appears in the serie "Angel", sorry for my bad english xD

  • @dogpeople103 his name is david boreanaz and he played Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the buffy spinoff show Angel.

  • the best shows..nice shows

  • Que de souvenirs !

  • Look! A pre-Stepford wife Katie Holmes.

Damn. She actually looks hot here.

  • The Good old days.

  • this takes me all the way back to high school i graduated in 2001 those years were so awsom back then many memories and good friends now its a pain in the ass my job sucks tax's are high my friends have moved away and im stressed out from dealing with assholes i wish i could go back in time when the years were cool

  • Smallville, One Tree Hill, and Supernatural, which all originated on the WB, are still airing new episodes.

  • Even though there is no more WB, are any of these shows still on air??

  • actually i have no idea. i'm from germany and there are a few shows that air reruns on diffrent channels. but in the us i really don't know. sorry

  • @aschenbloeddel The WB is now known as the CW, a combination of the WB network and UPN. All these shows are gone, however - the Gilmore Girls, which started that season, was around the latest, ending in 2007.

You can still watch all the old shows online, if you're in the US. Look up TheWB on Google - they have them archived.

Having started in 1995 and ending in 2006, the network was short-lived, but it did define a young generation, didn't it. Growing up in the 90s, this was your network.

  • @aschenbloeddel None of this shows is still onair... WB became CW but Charmed, Angel, Buffy, Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Roswell, Gilmore Girls, Seven Heaven and other huge Hits of this channel il still onair

  • no ithink the last one of the shows was charmed and it ended in 2006!!!!!

  • A year after your inquiry, "One Tree Hill", "Smallville", and "Supernatural" still remain, all airing new episodes on The CW.

  • @mstewart73 Charmed,Sabrina,and Buffy still come on.

  • @That6teenGuy

I used to watch Sabrina, The Teenage Witch when she was on TGIF on ABC from 1996 to 2000 but I don't like that show anymore. Only the real original TGIF I still like that had is Family Matters, Step by Step, and Boy Meets World.

  • @mstewart73 in the the early morning they put buffy the vampire slayer and charmed at like 8am onwards

  • @mstewart73 no just syndication.

  • @mstewart73

Charmed, Buffy, & Angel rerun in the USA on the TNT Channel, Charmed also reruns on The WE channel. as for Felicity & Dawsons Creek im unsure

  • @mstewart73: None that I can think of...Dawson's Creek has been done nearly 5 yrs, and that was the last one I remember being on of the shows they had characters of here.

  • @mstewart73 Nope none

  • @mstewart73 Angel is on TNT, BTVS is on Chiller and LOGO, I still see Roswell on SYFY every once in a while, Dawson's Creek was on Teen Nick, Sabrina The Teenage Witch is either on Teen NIck or ABC Family, The Jamie Foxx Show is on BET. That's all I know.

  • omg katie holmes looked so different

  • that would be such a cool commercial to shoot

  • I like this video
