The shows for this season (from what I can remember) were: Charmed, Dawson's Creek, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Jack And Jill, Young Americans, Nikki, Popular, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, The Jamie Fox Show, Felicity, 7th Heaven, Angel and I think that's it... Oh what a night! LOL I miss those shows.
Damn whats gunna happend after One Tree Hill ends, there will be nothing left that was connected to the WB,like there will never be another Gilmore Girls, Buffy, Roswell, Dawson's Creek
@dylderek123 Ah I just realized that I wish they put more wb shows like Roswell , Charmed Buffy ,Angel Dawson Creek, Felicity and etc.. on the wb .com website.
This was back when television shows had some substance not like the shows that are mass produced now. Popular, Angel, Charmed, 7th Heaven, Dawson's Creek, Buffy, and Roswell. I miss these shows and what the true WB stood for.
you know I use to love wb and getting all the great shows that was on there some of them I got on dvd but out with the old and in with the new times have change that was 11 years ago. I think the only show that is still alive is going away this year at that is smallville it make me long for the days of wb and now teens have cw and yes some of the shows are crap the only show I see is supernatural and thats awesome. But go got to miss all those great shows on that network.
Forget Hellcats, One Tree Hill, 90210, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Smallville, Gossip Girl and the worst one ever Nikita. These shows suck. I wish they would at least put these old TV shoows as RE-RUNS on the CW, these were the best TV shows for teens.
@hdna12 hey smallville does not suck its awesome and made Wb better. But your right they should show the old shows at least on saturday nights starting at 5
Oh WOW! I've had this promo in my head all week. I forgot how much I loved these shows... I completely agree with Sblachly. It DID feel like family. Shows had a lot more heart then, than today's shows.
I remember getting home from school, doing my chores, then choking down my dinner as fast as possible because I just COULDN'T miss my weekly dose of Charmed (I missed out on Dawson's Creek, and after watching reruns I found that I could've been into it.) Lol. Good times, good times.
it also had a awesome saturday morning lineup with batman/superman adventure, men in black, batman beyond, freakzoid, and so much more. this network truly defined a generation
10 Years later and I still miss those days and these shows, now that they are gone. Well, the ones I was watching at least. It really was a fabulous little mini-era for young adult television. Thanks for the fun, WB. You are missed.
oh yeah, 2000, that was the year Sabrina moved from abc to the wb. and Popular, man, that used to be my SHOW! after TGIF ended in 2000, th wb was my new Friday night spot.
I don't think there was a single week night during this time that I didn't have a show I need to watch, this was when the WB was at it's greatest! My god, I still have tapes filled of Buffy, Dawson's Creek, Charmed, Roswell, and Popular...and I even watched 7th Heaven, but that was more because I thought it was too fake and kind of funny...
god I fell so old I do miss the WB it sad really I do like the name change to CW but it not the same without that frog dancing around and all those great shows that have now going it was the good old days for me late teens early 20s I love seeing those shows but now I am in my 30s I do not get in to them as much as I did so I just miss the WB that all.
Yeah Smallville is still on its first run. Smallville's 10th/final season starts on Friday, Sept. 24 and I can't wait! Man I missed the WB. I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed (the first few seasons), Roswell (pieces of it but didn't really care for it), Smallville, and Birds of Prey on the WB.
Oh the funny thing is that my WB also had Star Trek The Next Generation's reruns, Star Trek Voyager, and Star Trek Enterprise since I didn't have a UPN until the last 2 years its existence before it merged with my WB to become the CW. All Star Trek (The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and some of Voyager) from the late 80s and 90s used to be on my FOX. I even had Stargate SG-1 on my WB even it was a Showtime/the Sci-Fi Channel series! Lol.
i agree with many of the posts here the wb defined 90s teen and a whole generation of young adults. I can only imagint this promo must have been soo much fun to do. just imagine getting all those people together in one spot. makes me wonder if there was a complete list of everyone who was there. and who was there and just didn't make the cut for some reason.
Shannen thinks David Boreanaz is hitting on her but he's probably just looking for a good spot on her neck to bite (which then will be followed by having his ass tk'ed onto whatever table the 7th heaven cast is sitting at). Ok maybe not lmao. Killer tv show line up back then though, and overall feel good promo. Thanks for posting!
God, this network DID define a generation. The golden age of teen television - and wow do I miss it. There will never be a network quite like the WB. It truly felt like a family.
this takes me all the way back to high school i graduated in 2001 those years were so awsom back then many memories and good friends now its a pain in the ass my job sucks tax's are high my friends have moved away and im stressed out from dealing with assholes i wish i could go back in time when the years were cool
@aschenbloeddel The WB is now known as the CW, a combination of the WB network and UPN. All these shows are gone, however - the Gilmore Girls, which started that season, was around the latest, ending in 2007.
You can still watch all the old shows online, if you're in the US. Look up TheWB on Google - they have them archived.
Having started in 1995 and ending in 2006, the network was short-lived, but it did define a young generation, didn't it. Growing up in the 90s, this was your network.
@aschenbloeddel None of this shows is still onair... WB became CW but Charmed, Angel, Buffy, Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Roswell, Gilmore Girls, Seven Heaven and other huge Hits of this channel il still onair
I used to watch Sabrina, The Teenage Witch when she was on TGIF on ABC from 1996 to 2000 but I don't like that show anymore. Only the real original TGIF I still like that had is Family Matters, Step by Step, and Boy Meets World.

@mstewart73 Angel is on TNT, BTVS is on Chiller and LOGO, I still see Roswell on SYFY every once in a while, Dawson's Creek was on Teen Nick, Sabrina The Teenage Witch is either on Teen NIck or ABC Family, The Jamie Foxx Show is on BET. That's all I know.
Don't Forget About Roswell, which moved to UPN, the following season. and The Jamie Foxx Show got cancelled at the end of the season.
