considering that Unicron is pretty BA and he has a new version for sale on amazon.com this time with a g1 head instead of the armada head. 60 bucks is a pretty nice price to pay or him. unless he sells out then collector's price is a B****.

i got the armada one but some of the gimmicks don't work and i don't have a minicon to see if that is the problem WTF is going on

the packaging at least says universe. but i do believe that this was a repackaging of the Armada Unicron. same exact figure, no repaints, just a new box.

yeah, that is what i thought also, i got the armada one for my birthday a WHILE ago.

it was on sale at toys r us with the black version of the same figure.

i have that.i got it when i was.....i forgot.i have a lot of peices missing.the cases on the chest and the bottom .the cannon still works.but the hand and eyes dont glow anymore.i have one missing hand because my sister broke it and now its lost.i still use it.

Yeah. I was lucky with Unicron. People were paying $100+ for the toy just days b4 I won. But I've also paid $60 for galaxy prime (later released in a $30 2 pack at costco) and $80 for perceptor (supposedly to be re-released this year).

Baliktad tayo. I got this as a gift for my wife. around $60 from ebay, a few months b4 I found out he was to be rereleased as a TRU exclusive :(

After having purchased several toys online at ridiculous hobby shop items, about half my purchases have been re-issued. So now I've sworn off buying older toys sold at 'collectors' prices...if I wait long enough hopefully they'll come into retail circulation again : )

yeah, i stopped buying from hobby shops and just settled for waiting for the figures to pop up on retail. the only time i buy from hobby shops is if they somehow lower their prices slightly below retail price
