Oops, alexm921. The 2 women (from NTB) who wrote the song thought it was so much like a Bond (007) song that they immediately thought that the song was perfect for DSB. They tracked her down in Switzerland and left a tape of the song & a note that this was a perfect song for her at her hotel (or at the gym, depending on who's telling the story). She says she heard it and had to record it. NTB's version is avalable on UT, so check it out.

I remember watching this Royal Variety. There were a few singers on before Bassey, male and female but when she came on and performed this song she absolutely BLEW them off the stage!
