I am able to do Utrasana but I have been getting pain after doing this pose. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now, could you help to reason out or suggest a solution to remove this pain. I don't have any history of back/ health problems and I do yoga.
As a beginner there will be discomfort for most people and this is knowledge that is based in experience. It is a realistic expression to say the back is supposed to hurt. This is not PAIN - this is not take your breath away pain. Those who have been practicing understand what this means. To further discuss this I invite you to please call or email me at the studio! It is possible that without realizing it you may be doing the pose incorrectly. I suggest having a private consultation with you instructor
