@Menechem Have you ready 1 Cor. 6:13 and understand the whole content of 1 Cor. 7:1-40. Read before you push your teaching. The Lord Jesus Christ is the high priest and model, so every priest must follow the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 3:1-13, you are too literal, you don't understand what you are reading.
I don't know what the problem is. I know its against the law, but why? If one studies church history, one will see married Popes, Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests. in the eastern rite, they have married clergy. Anglican Priests are a;oud to serve as Roman Priests upon ordination and conversion. If one reads and studies Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-13), it was decreed that A Bishop is to be husband of one wife, an Elder, and a Deacom the same.
This Bishop has committed an unpardonable sin Against his clerical office and the Holy Mother Church for Marrying and for performing the sacred sacrament of Ordination to the Bishopric Office without the Holy Father's permission and thus, it is so proper to dismiss him from any clerical performances and excommunicate him.
@LindaMarie1955 Exactly!!! If you followed Milingo's reason to marry, you will realise that the Abuses in the Church was one of the reasons he could not stay pretend!!
To the question, 'Are there men of the curia who are followers of Satan?' Milingo responded, 'Certainly there are priests and bishops. I stop at this level of ecclesiastical hierarchy because I am an archbishop, higher than this I cannot go.' Milingo cited papal statements to back up his charges. 'Paul VI said that the smoke of Satan had entered into the Vatican'
I never understood how at Ordination one is marked with an indelable sign - once a priest always a priest - but can be laiscised. I really don't think any laicisation is valid. Or if it is then the Ordination sacramental seal is not permanent. Surely it must be one or the other??
If the Bishops wished to break his own vows then he can go right ahead. However his lie to remain a celebent servant of the Lord is his own battle with sin.
@dacatholicbandorgan, these "bishops" have valid but illicit ordinations. i have read that the vatican does not reconize it. let the canon lawyers decide.
How original of you to stab at my name. You must be a genious.
Rome love to condemn others but not itself??? Is there even a dicernable point to that statement? What the heck do you think a Bishop is? Something that isn't part of "the Church"?
As for our numbers in days, heretics have been saying that century after century and we are still here. The Church will out.
"But I would have you be without solicitude. He that is without a wife is solicitous for the things of the Lord, and how he may please God. But he that is with a wife, is solicitous for the things of the world, how he may please his wife: and he is divided.
"Therefore, both he that giveth his virgin in marriage, doth well: and he that giveth her not doth better."
According to these verses, the bishop did well. Why then was he dismissed?
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
The very verses you cited acquit the bishop of wrongdoing.
But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. (1 Corinthians 7:28)
@LockjawVideo 1 Timothy 3:2 say The presiding elder must be blameles, the husband of one wife........and not like you say "the bishop must be blameless, husband of one wife........ There is no word bishop there in the bible but the presiding elder. Don't simply write anything.
@MeninodeValpoi - The Greek word I translated as "bishop" and you as "elder' is episkopos, and it means superintendent or overseer. The Greek word for "elder" is presvýteros, and it isn't used in this verse. Oops. Who then was the presiding "elder" in this bishop's diocese? Peace.

It was just and fair. he broke his vows not just physically but his promise to God when he was ordained a priest. what a shame

That's what you get when you try to take the Church to obscure countries like that in Afrika. Well, Zambia is in Afrika, isn't it?

Childishinfaih, well you're right basically. Rome loves to condemn and punish everyone but itself. It's days are numbered.

Who is the heretic?
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; (1 Timothy 3:2)
