I was at this game. It was played in the old NBA arena in Kansas City. Don't remember this hit but remember the shots Terry Gagnon was hitting. He tooled the blocks constantly. They played team Paul Mitchell in the final. This was the open div and old guys worked everyone I'm sure some were in there 40's.

I think it was. I actually was just at a Volleyball camp, and one of the coaches was David Jack. One kid brought this video up one of the days, and he admitted that he was the one who hit the ball. He said that he regretted it in hindsight because all it did was piss off the other team and motivate them to play harder. He was so cool as a coach, he did blocking jousting with us, and almost every kid that went against him was flat on their butts when he was done. It was great!

The hitter was Dave Jack, who has hands that are so big and strong he could probably palm a medicine ball (almost literally). Dave has been voted to the All-American team at least 6 times. And one of the nicest guys around - I guarantee he didn't try to take his head off.

That was Men's Open, not any 18U or otherwise. And what you didn't see was that that guy was literally dazed so long that we couldn't play for the next few minutes.

haha i wonder if i know you... i played for canuck stuff back in the day so i'll take the compliment. this may not have been masters yet, but previously canuck stuff also had teams in the older divisions not only 13U to 18U.  Infact i still believe that don saxton, walsh and all those old ballers still enter teams in the masters league under the canuck stuff club name.
