Yo dude I got my ears pierced to a 12g almost a week ago and I was told not to move the hoops around but I find myself waking up and they have moved on their own. I have 12g plugs but I'm not sure if I should replace them with plugs just yet. You seem to know a lot of the subject of ear stretching. Think it would be a good idea to ensure that they heal up nicely?

i need help, my ears are at a 00 and the inside skin is all red, i cant tell if its a blowout cause theres not loose skin sticking out from behind my ear or any side of it, its just the redness inside and its been like that since i got to a 2 and i clean it once a week and even massage it with bio oil, is it just stratched?

@1Big2Balla3 Well, are they fully healed? and It depends what size they plug. If its lower then 0 gauge they grow back, For example I am 1/2 and they don't grow back.

I've watched countless videos on stretching tonight. This is by far the best and most informative one I've ever seen actually. The only thing I would like to add is another method of stretching called "taping". Basically you wrap 2 or 3 layers of Teflon tape around your current plug and pop it back it. It's very useful for upsizing on larger sizes. I had trouble getting a 0 taper through from a 2 so I used the taping method to slowly expand my hole and then used the taper to upsize. Very effici
@THEsibley123 you can stretch up to 18mm and it can still come back to normal when u take the plug out, but it may take abt 2 months. if u want ur ears to be normal all of a sudden then stretch it to 22mm but dont wear anything after u stretch...next day ul see that ur ear is left with not more than 6mm.
@THEsibley123 0-00 is the size that'll make it so your ears will close back up. Though it may be less due to the fact that we all heal differently and our ears stretch differently. It also depends on how you stretched. If you went to fast they might not ever close back up.
@Catt2151 for safety, wait at least a month before you try to take them out because that is the average time for the stretch to heal. when healed your ears will no longer feel pressured/swollen/tender/etc. you'll kind of just know, like how you know when a scar has fully healed. after it's healed, you should wait a little bit more time to allow your body to regain it's elasticity before stretching again (i give myself 2 months between stretches for optimum health) :D
@THEsibley123 Do you mean that you want them to be able to heal or close? If that's the case, don't go past 0g or 00g. They say 00g is the point of no return, meaning that it is incredibly difficult to downsize once you go past it.
okay so i have three stretchers two in my left ear and one in my right my right is at 5/8" my left is at 5/8" and there is a small hole above that is 2G and i am wearing double flared plugs and my left 5/8" plug wont pop out i have to unscrew it for it to be removed and i am able to get the plug out with pulling out like a normal double flared plug but it hurts slightly i stretched my ears to 5/8" a while ago is it beacuse i have two stretchers in one ear or beacuse its not "ready"
Use natural oils. Don't use tapers. that is just a way to stretch faster. Lubes aren't good for your ears either. After 00 use the taping method. If you keep stretching with tapers you are more prone to a blowout, infection. Tapers cause rapid tearing. A blowout is built up scar tissue. to prevent a blowout don't use tapers after 00. All a taper does especially when you use acrylic is is tears your ears. Acrylic is never a good choice to use neither is silicone.

wait for a month or more before stretching. give your lobes as much time as possible to relax and heal. when you put that next taper in, you shouldn't feel any pain whatsoever. if anything, you'll have a slight amount of pressure. if your ears are bleeding, throbbing, or oozing puss you fucked up. take that shit out and let your ears heal twice as long. yeah, you might have to start over but it's worth it to have healthy thick lobes.

@boja17 you should stay at that size for two weeks minimum before stretching up again. you actually don't really have a choice about sleeping with them in because if you don't the whole will begin to close. and of course you can shower with them just be careful not to rip the tapers out. i'm being hypocritical when i say this because i'm not using plugs until i reach 00g (i'm at a 4g right now) but you should change your tapers to plugs after the first day or two of stretching up a size. but af

@nivenheim progress slowly. if you feel you are comfortable and your ears are ready go up to a 16g. do not skip sizes. it is very very painful. i know from personal experience. i have to deal with it cause i have one ear a 00g and the other a 16g, because I was not patient my first time around. as you reach about a 0g-00g I would suggest using bondage tape if you are looking to go to a bigger size.

Stretching with tapers is THE worst way to stretch you're ears the best way is to tape up just put one wrap of tape around a plug a day untill you get to the next size (bondage or PTFE tape works the best) dead stretching isn't that bad if you wait till you have space in you're ears and you can fit them in with as little push as possible. good try though man
that aint good at all man, you wanna take like a week to 2 weeks in between each stretch! im dead impatient and ive got prom coming up soon and i want both my ears at 8mm (0g) by then but i just keep saying to mysef take yyour time!
@rockerlee12 that depends on where you live, but I do not think it will effect the opportunity for you of getting a job. So tell your dad that he is wrong.
i think stretching periods vary from one person to another. i waited for two weeks between each stretch(i used acrylic tapers) and my ears didn't' even hurt at all. one tip i'd give is to stretch after a hot water tub or a steamy shower. In that case your skin becomes more stretchy and soft. Oh, and i never used any oil too, just my own spit to get the taper in.)

@adamfabrizio i personaly think you should wait a month-2 months, try and get some plugs or something after the second week (or whenever they are healed) because with tapers that big, like he said, can make an uneven stretch.

@kayisforkivlen I'm 12 & I pierced my septum myself, & I've got 00 in both ears. Yeah i'm super young, but on a scale of 1 - 10 your septum would be about a 2 if you don't go through the cartillage. Ear stretching about a 4 if you do it right. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT, you're supposed to take your time.
@AutumnBottomm I agree on stretching your ears, but my septum(when i had it done) hurt a lot worse. on a scale from 1-10 my ear stretching was about a 3 and my septum was about a 5-6.

I only recently just started ear stretching, I´m in England, we use mm, I just literally out it a 2.5 mm stretcher, I read a LOT on the internet and stuff, spoke to a few people that have had their ears stretched for years, and consider myself a bit good on the topic for my own use, however, after watching your video, I learnt it´s not the best idea to use vaseline... AFTER I used it...

Stretching with tapers is THE worst way to stretch you're ears the best way is to tape up just put one wrap of tape around a plug a day untill you get to the next size (bondage or PTFE tape works the best) dead stretching isn't that bad if you wait till you have space in you're ears and you can fit them in with as little push as possible. good try though man

i think stretching periods vary from one person to another. i waited for two weeks between each stretch(i used acrylic tapers) and my ears didn't' even hurt at all. one tip i'd give is to stretch after a hot water tub or a steamy shower. In that case your skin becomes more stretchy and soft. Oh, and i never used any oil too, just my own spit to get the taper in.)

Hey bro, Im at a 00g at thee moment, I am probably going too a 5/8. I just put the 00 in on Sunday. So how long should i wait rto advancebigger and bigger Im not gonna skip sizes or anything but I only have tapers...Is it that bad to wear tapers? ? btw i use that vitamin E oil works like a charm :). Also good to see another black guy stretching haha!

@adamfabrizio i personaly think you should wait a month-2 months, try and get some plugs or something after the second week (or whenever they are healed) because with tapers that big, like he said, can make an uneven stretch.

ive already stretched my ears to a 0 gauge and i use bactroban that my dad got from the hospital he works at. its helps A LOT. i was really impatient when doing this so i ripped my ears a bit. i rubbed the ointment on it and it healed right up. i also have a question. what hurt more..stretching your ears (atleast up to a 0) or PIERCING your septum?

@kayisforkivlen I'm 12 & I pierced my septum myself, & I've got 00 in both ears. Yeah i'm super young, but on a scale of 1 - 10 your septum would be about a 2 if you don't go through the cartillage. Ear stretching about a 4 if you do it right. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT, you're supposed to take your time.

@AutumnBottomm I agree on stretching your ears, but my septum(when i had it done) hurt a lot worse. on a scale from 1-10 my ear stretching was about a 3 and my septum was about a 5-6.

I only recently just started ear stretching, I´m in England, we use mm, I just literally out it a 2.5 mm stretcher, I read a LOT on the internet and stuff, spoke to a few people that have had their ears stretched for years, and consider myself a bit good on the topic for my own use, however, after watching your video, I learnt it´s not the best idea to use vaseline... AFTER I used it...
But yeah, thanks for the tips, and will definitely subscribe :)

can anyone help me, i went from 14 to a 10, i know stupid, im not skipping sizes anymore, ut the inside of my ear is kind of red, its been almost a week, they dont hurt, and they werent bleeding, but im kind of scared. my ears wont be permanent right??? im waiting a while for the next stretch, but will they be permanent? i know its a small size, but still, im currently wearing 10g micro tapers, the ear that was red i put a flesh tunnel in and took it out because i thought it would be unhealthy
