This might be the best thing Zimmer ever wrote (and I like his soundtracks in general). There's a "strange loop" built into it, so every repetition of the main chords seems to be going up while never disappearing off the top of the scale of human hearing -- a trick perfected by J. S. Bach, Pachelbel, and other composers of the Baroque period. It still works today.
