  • How do you make it? I have a clay mold of what I want, but where do I go from there?

  • Looks like a LOTR goblin :D

  • great work fella. i have a question when useing water based clay for sculpting your heads would plain plaster of pairs work? Or would a different type be better?

  • That is ridiculously good!

  • name of this job?

  • thats so bad ass

  • sorry to ask something off topic...

but what is the name of this song, it's awesome.

  • lower the top of the head, add some wounds, and leave the teeth. and u got urself a awesome looking zombie mask. (without pointy ears, wierd nose, eyebrows, etc..)

  • they look like the monsters in the movie the desent

  • ok what kinda clay did you use? and how much did you need to use? what site did you buy from? i also would like to know where you bought your mannequin and the what the plaster and latex were

  • You should make a video explaining how you do it.

  • looks like an ork from lotr

  • i HAVE to know what music that was in your vid!!!! awsom tunes to have in the background while getting creative!!!! love your work by the way, VERY talented!!!!

  • Hi thats insane talent you have there and i have seen your masks im having real trouble finding something to coat my latex masks at the end to finish them to keep all the paint on ect can you give me any ideas? For wearable masks i mean.

Thanks creep up the good work :)

    Alex

    5/5

  • go to monster makers . com and they have a "Perma Wet" thing to make it last longer.

  • I paint masks with FW acrylic inks...the ink binds and stretches with the masks...unlike a latex based paint...only drawback is alcohol...it will take the paint right off..you can airbrush the ink, or add it right to the latex itself...it also seems to (I don't know why) thicken the latex a little...

  • could u give me ur phone # or card or something cuz i have been looking for cusom masks

  • Custom masks (to make initially) are always very expensive, prepare to pay $500, or more for the first pull of each different sculpt. I honestly think $500 was a conservative estimate though.

After the mold is made, each piece put out could be as cheap as $30, painted, more if it requires hair or other types of treatments.

Let's not even get into how ridiculous custom silicone masks can cost.

If you are still serious I can point you in the right direction.

  • cool, how do you make it?

    it looks damn real

  • Has anyone ever seen the movie THE DESCENT. Well at 1:03 it looks like the monsters, doesn't it?

  • haha true !

  • Man ! make 1 for me and send it .. Il pay ya ! i realy 1 a good mask for haloween etc ! :P just PM me !

  • Love the last one, it is my favorite.

You should make a head coming out of a vagina, then make one with penises.LOL

    GOOD STUFF!

  • holy fuck

  • what do you use to paint. if you can't get any latex paint is there an alternative?

  • I use ''textil" . It's color for fabric and it's elastic when it dryies. or you can mix acrylic colors with latex ( 80% color 20% latex).

  • I'm new to the whole mask making scene. How do you get the hollow inside of the mask, when you've poured all the latex into the mold?

  • im new to.

i think you either just thickly bruch it in or if you're rich and have alot of latex your pour it all into the mould then pour it our so every hole is filled.

    hope this helped

  • What kind of clay or material do you use for making the busts? Cheers man, love your work!

  • Thanks man, well i use a water based clay for pottery, then i mold the sculpt and cast it in latex .

  • ummm can you also use oil based clay for this?

  • @boularis When you put the latex on, do you just paint it on? Because some people have done that and they had not gotten the texture they wanted.

  • YOU ARE SOOO TALENTED!!

  • whatd you use for teeth?

  • I use acrilyc teeth from a dental supplies store or i sculpt them.

  • cool thanks

  • great job my man, 5/5

  • u should make a video of u wearing a couple of ur masks

  • Nice job, love all the textures and details, great paintwork as well

  • Great detail, but you should label the video. "Montage of final work" not "Making a monster mask"

  • absolute wizzard :-D
