I just realized this is 2007 hes talking about the remastered versions of dbz. except I noticed they only redubbed the voices up to frieza saga ater frieza was defeated on namek they just left the rest except for putting in japanese audio behind their voices and etc.
God I remember that Piccolo line... Wasn't that from the Frieza saga after he fused with Nail? That sounded so out of place, I had a hard time watching the rest of that episode.

Now he only works for FUNimation when they're working on the DBZ videogames, as it takes about 1-2 days to record the dialogue for those, something that can easily be accomplished with a brief visit.
