Amazing.. I have been to Malaysia, Singapore places even betttr than qatar. I have been here for the past 8 yrs, within 5 yrs itself I have seen MANY changs all ovr the country. Qatar's gonna finish itself nd stand beside Dubai very soon. But its not gonna take them more than 6 yrs to complete. Good Luck, Qatar. Nd I'M gonna be here in 2022 to meet up with my frnds here. After I finish my College.
YOU haters are just wasting time here... if you've never been to Qatar... i say you just shut the hell up...! coz some of us who live here now.. know that they can pull this off! END OF STORY!
guys qatar literally has enough money to buy all of your countries and turn them into holiday homes so enough with the haters. i've lived in qatar for 10 years, tbh its not the best place in the world for teenagers, it can get super boring. but the changes i've seen in 10 years are nothing compared to what's happening now.seriously, they have the power and money to pull this off.
Qatar will get smashed in the world cup, 2022 will be the first and only time they will ever qualify for the world cup unless they start buying young african kids and train them !
It is a country with too much money and which plays games with the lives of people in neighbouring countries, right now it thinks it is like it's masters the US or Israel and can safely get away with playing the game 'regime change' which is costing thousands of lives...
Another game it likes playing is Sunni V Shia. These Qataris live like decadent kings and bring war and misery down on their less fortunate neighbours.
Qatar sponsor of the Libyan war, a war fought for Qatar's foreign masters but from which the greedy backstabbing little dictatorship also benefitted materially. Arabs must rally against the treacherous colonialism of US-protected little tyrannies like Qatar.....
If you recall the Kuwaitis provoked Saddam and that led to the invasions of Iraq, these small countries can cause a lot of trouble, right now they are trying to create and widen divisions between Muslims.
im disappointed that the US didn't get it but we just had one. I'm amazed by the stadiums they will use they look fantastic. Just what will they do with them when the WC is over? but i think that despite doubts, pretty much every aspect of the 2022 WC will be a success. Only bad part might be the temperature. I know the stadiums will have AC but what if the fans want to tailgate or something?
@luciisbored Qatar does not have riots or anything like that. Much of the population consists of wealthy Arab and European businessmen and investors. LOL No violence
@luciisbored Hey ! , I'm From Wales , I Came To Teach Here In Qatar , I've Gone To Like 6 Countries To Teach ( Malisya , Uk , Dubai , Bahrain Etc.. ) I Think Qatar Is The Safest Countries I've Ever Been To , Even My Wife And Kids Say That !
@Cheps534 we're not part of the Arab Emirates, but we are an Emirate (that means State). The most expensive thing here is rent, other than that it's pretty cheap.
This is really amazing not is as bad as I thought, hopefully make it a world left recorded for history, will have 32 years when happen but now I'm going to start raising money to go to qatar that this is not to be missed
I as a european have lived in qatar for 4 years and even in those 4 years qatar has grown so much... the fact that they have 11 years to do this.. yep they can :)
i have seen some of the plans already and been visiting the construction site of the new airport as well as lusail a few times... things are definitely going to be absolutely astonishing once complete. qatar continue what you do !!!!!
@HBKANDREYROCKS yesterday today tomorrow no mater qatar is SHIT ! you have no football history you have simply no history youre just a shitty tiny country without soul who believes to buy everything with your fuckin dirty money but in football money is not everything !
@triplehhh558 That's nice respect. Did your mom teach you that? We love football, we have passion for the sport, as long as you have passion, you don't need to be good. If a bunch of handicapped try to play football, would you do the same to them? Well you have to! And the whole bribery thing was a false claim by a whistleblower, that used to be in the Qatari sports council something like that, if you were fired, I'm sure you'd like to make a rumour. Its a WORLD cup, for the whole world.
@HBKANDREYROCKS well you can love football no problem with that everyone love football mongols indians canadians...everyone love football but no one of these countrys buy foreign born players to try to compete with other great football nations no one buy by corrupt the world cup organisation you qatari tired us with your dirty money if you really love football then just watching on tv like every weak football country..
@triplehhh558 Your ego is unlimited, but it wont be, you are protected by the internet, cussing a whole country behind a monitor just shows how weak you are. Now, while you sit around in your destroyed economy, I'm sitting here with millions of dollars, why? Because I have faith.
@HBKANDREYROCKS you have dollars..ahahaha well im european and everything in this world turn around US you must know it ! you can have million of dollars but you will always remain a poor bedouin without brainfor us...i have more respect for the iranians they are proud they are not our puppet like you lol
@triplehhh558 You are a fucking dumb ass. I converted the currency for you. I'm not a bedouin. My friend was 1# in the U.S. He was also the youngest professor ever, and entered the Guinness book. That isn't dumb. My son competed in the world math championship last year and was in the first 100, so did his sister. You can never call that dumb..... I'm a proud Qatari, how are we puppets? You accuse FIFA of being puppets to us, now you say that we are puppets to you. You have NO reason to hate us.
@HBKANDREYROCKS Lol, you have a kid? Shut the fuck up and raise him you Youtube shit talking faggot. Should have figured you were American, noshit ehh? I bet if you were to run your mouth to this kind European person's face, he'd kick your teeth in and slap you around like the piece of shit you are.
@triplehhh558 Oh and before calling me dumb, go learn how to speak and write English correctly, then we shall talk again! Fucking ignorant piece of shit, I bet you didn't even leave Europe. You're just isolated alone in your mother's basement.
@etetepete well... we could say that there are other Football Cups that will be available just for the stadiums to be used.... anything is possible... heck, even Qatar may host their own cup... and THAT would be another huge step not only for Qatar, but also for ALL the Arab countries in the middle east. :D
1) I can verify that the Airport terminal depicted is infact QSTP, a science and technology park... there is no possiblity EVER of an aircraft landing there, and judging off the build quality, it will have collapsed before 2022
2) Even if they started now, they couldnt grow all the grass depicted
3) The roads now are so conjested it takes hours to get anywhere, how is that going to work when there are 6 or 8 games going at once, dont say trams there is no chance they wil be ready in 10 years....
@mrhuggybearuk baby if you saw Qatar before 10 years ago and who its become now, you'll change your mind, belive me even us we can't belive who this could happened!!!
Google the pics...Youtube dun lemme paste links...SEE THE DIFFERENCE....QSTP DUN HAVE AN ENTRANCE LIKE IN THE VID!!....n besides...airport is almost done...i can see the roof from 20km away...and QSTP is beside my university in Education city
@mrhuggybearuk you need to read up on how much Qatar is going to be spending on infrastructure and it doesn't take hours to get everywhere. In peak traffic time it's congested but not all the time. I live in the lagoon area and it takes me 15 mins in the morning to drive to QSTP.
What is the Qatar Government going to do to prevent homosexual activity, which can result in capital punishment and imprisonment, amongst its foreign workers and tourists? Surely a camera in all rooms accommodating foreigners is appropriate, given the number of gays who will likely flood into the country during the World Cup.
@Wanted19922009 i went there last summer for a month cus my american girl friends parents work out there in oil so fuck off you prick who asked you anyway
ok, I see Qatar has money and big buildings and the rest of the world loves football. how come are they the ones to organize the WC? it they want to participate in the tournament why dont they just qualify instead of buying the whole thing? money money money, oil moves the world. how come they didnt include a single thing of culture in there?? is it gonna be just football and shopping?
@angelusboy um, dude, it's a 3 and a half minute video, they're not gna be able to fit 12 years of work into that. Its just an overview. FYI some of the stadiums themselves are based on this country's culture, like the dhow, they used it to go pearl-diving. Until the Japanese found another way to do it and they went into an economical crisis. But uhm, this video is more about the WORLD CUP which IS mainly shopping and football. Look at other videos 4 more stuff on Qatar as a country.
@17amarafi That stadium was one of the 2 things I loved in the video. I went to see what that boat is and it turns out to be inspired in lateen sails taken by the portuguese to the Middle and Far East. Still what I feel is that Qatar is not offering itself nor passion for football in this video. They are just depicting a place for people to spend money in football. The other moment I liked was the one with all the different people in the bar but to me it lacks the feeling of the Iberian bid.
@riatman it's gonna be a Copa inside a giant shopping called Qatar in the middle of the desert. but there will be plenty of shopping and heat and football and... nothing else.
@angelusboy you don't know Qatar then. There are loads of events happening and some great projects and current locations. Lusail, Entertainment City, Energy City, the 8km shopping strip, Katara Cultural Village, Tribeca Film Festival, and the list goes on visit iloveqatar . net and check out the events section
@iluvqatar you are totally right and that is exactly my point. I know nothing of Qatar and after seeing this clip I still cannot catch a glimpse of your culture. My criticism does not go towards the country but rather against the director(s) of this. Qatar must be more than money and investment power but that doesn't shine through. Still I am quite happy to know that there will be plenty of cultural events to go with the World Cup and maybe in future promos they'll be featured ;)
Firing Squad in USA is no longer allowed, only lethal injections. As for the "old practices" of "those countries"-its barbaric and backward no matter how you try to justify it.
If FIFA has extended this once in a lifetime chance for "Islamic countries" for "different view of things",then surely "Islamic countries in this region" can extend their hands towards 'common grounds' and drop one of their most barbaric acts of "beheading",as there are other alternatives available.I hope these Islamic nations realise that this is their chance to "free themselves from barbaric rules from eons ago ".
@Apvatar3000 in america people get sentened by death by firing squad so.... and lethal injection and be headed is so rare every 15yrs 1 or from 1904-1976 no one was beheaded by the government just dont kill more than five people
@Apvatar3000 Well the citizens don't consider it a trap, thus getting rid of it would bring no freedom. The barbarians form eons ago you speak of were our ancestors. If we wanted to change our culture, we'd do it. Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, I guess I just read a lot of hate about Qatar and am taking this WAY to personally. I get what you're trying to say though, but only time will tell.
@iluvqatar ..the fact that such law exists in this day and age is scary,as those same laws are often used to intimidate political or social movements often in undemocratic nations.I agree with capital punishment for all types of violent criminals though-using hanging or lethal injections.
@Apvatar3000 execution exists in many countries though, including the US, Singapore, China, etc.. beheading is probably as painless as lethal injection (I don't know) and as long as it's not public, why does it matter? The person is being killed for a crime anyway
@iluvqatar ..The collective dignity of human species as a whole, is of far more importance, than of this barbaric act which portrays all of humanity as a fanatical species that isn't evolving with relevant times.
@Apvatar3000 very few people hav ever been beheaded in Qatar`s modern history. No one is interested in crime in Qatar. I also like to remind you that its quite easy to get a permit from the police to organise a protest as long as you assure its gonna be peaceful anyway...
The world cup in Qatar will not be allowed because beer isnt allowed in Qatar there going to have to let them have it there or not a lot of people will go.
@Eer321 they still have enough time to change the laws or they will break the record of the lowest attendance in World Cup history, we need beer to enjoy the world cup!!!
extremely gud presentation im so glad to be living in qatar right now. other presentation for oher countries who tried to bid includes famous futballers wich doesnt impress me
so excited for this, i'm definitely coming back to see how doha has changed over the years.

The other moment I liked was the one with all the different people in the bar but to me it lacks the feeling of the Iberian bid.

@riatman it's gonna be a Copa inside a giant shopping called Qatar in the middle of the desert. but there will be plenty of shopping and heat and football and... nothing else.
angelusboy 4 months ago

@riatman There are loads of events, you should leave your house more often.

Apvatar3000 6 months ago
@Apvatar3000 in america people get sentened by death by firing squad so.... and lethal injection and be headed is so rare every 15yrs 1 or from 1904-1976 no one was beheaded by the government just dont kill more than five people
Faz3lHD 6 months ago
@Apvatar3000 Well the citizens don't consider it a trap, thus getting rid of it would bring no freedom. The barbarians form eons ago you speak of were our ancestors. If we wanted to change our culture, we'd do it. Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, I guess I just read a lot of hate about Qatar and am taking this WAY to personally. I get what you're trying to say though, but only time will tell.
17amarafi 3 months ago
@Apvatar3000 Qatar hasn't had a beaheading or execution in over 20 years
iluvqatar 2 months ago
@iluvqatar ..the fact that such law exists in this day and age is scary,as those same laws are often used to intimidate political or social movements often in undemocratic nations.I agree with capital punishment for all types of violent criminals though-using hanging or lethal injections.
Apvatar3000 2 months ago
@Apvatar3000 execution exists in many countries though, including the US, Singapore, China, etc.. beheading is probably as painless as lethal injection (I don't know) and as long as it's not public, why does it matter? The person is being killed for a crime anyway
iluvqatar 2 months ago
@iluvqatar ..The collective dignity of human species as a whole, is of far more importance, than of this barbaric act which portrays all of humanity as a fanatical species that isn't evolving with relevant times.
Apvatar3000 2 months ago
@Apvatar3000 very few people hav ever been beheaded in Qatar`s modern history. No one is interested in crime in Qatar. I also like to remind you that its quite easy to get a permit from the police to organise a protest as long as you assure its gonna be peaceful anyway...

Qatar will be the worst country to ever play in the world cup. The Dog and Duck Pub 3rd team would have a better showing.
