Wow, thank you so much for this - I've just seen the concert on Youtube, which I've never seen before - really interesting - the time when REM were making it big internationally and starting to get crazed fans - also nice to see Michael not skinny!

Yeah, I agree about the daylight. When I saw them in Berkeley (a couple of weeks ago) the REM took the stage at about 7:30! Michael actually made a couple of comments about being able to "see EVERYBODY".
