Spirit Tracks was fun, interesting, cute, content-packed, your typical handheld Zelda game.

Skyward Sword will be a more serious, 50 hour adventure that is your typical console Zelda game.

@rendon2 You mean "broke". Anyway, if it's just a matter of not responding to touch, it's the same issue I had, but I fixed it. Get a clean, new toothbrush and clean out the edges of the touch screen of any dirt. That should fix it.

Phantom Hourglass has a time limit to beat certain levels, but the transportation is more direct.

The thing about Spirit Tracks is that it takes a while to get to a certain place, but then again there isn't a time limit.

@wwesleyblade PH is bright, the exploration by boat is better, has a really interesting adventure and innovative with the Dual Screens but there is some temple repitition. While ST is slightly darker (but not MM or TP Dark), higher difficulty and the style of the main temple(s) reaches back to LOZ days which can be more maze-like, and is very different from the general zelda game you'd expect.

i own and love the ds zelda games (phontom hourglass was better) but it would have been better without tracks just run around with your legs :P and i didn't like using the ds stylus to move/attack using the dpad and buttons would have been better

I just think that sailing through an empty ocean with nothing to do is boring, and that it gets even more boring if you take away the freedom to go where you want and bind the player on rails. It's short, and there are some puzzles that may require a guide book, and I find the area before the 4th-to-last boss (no spoilers) is extremely hard. I can't pass it, that's just me. If you liked Phantom Hourglass or Wind Waker, get this, but I wouldn't reccomend it to everybody

I admit that Ocarina of Time was a good game, I'm excited for the 3DS remake and all, but if you hate Wind Waker because of the graphics, that's just sad. The plot matures at the end of the game, and it should be recognized as one of the best games ever made!

It's so funny. The invention of toon link came from Nintendo wanting the younger kids to enjoy the wonderful expirience of zelda without all of the scary and serious content. Since toon link first came out for the gamecube I was like"NOO! They ruined zelda!!" But when I played it...it still had that zelda feeling to it. That mystical style of gameplay...that beautiful music. So no matter what type of zelda, it will always turn for the better. Thumbs up if you agree with me.
