  • great song

    geht voll ab

  • What's the point of encoding at 48000 Hz when the original file was only sampled at 44.1 kHz?

Usually it's either the top and bottom end of frequencies that removed or produced incorrectly with mp3 encoding, and at 320 kbps CBR, most of that is there.

Do you think you could tell the difference in the end Mr. Audio Man? :-)

  • Over High end equipment you can tell the difference between them... If you take Mp3s of songs and then listen to the FLAC format over some good headphones or decent speakers you will hear a more crisp sound. And when you are encoding with almost any software 320 defaults itself to 48000

  • Yeah - some friends of mine have been debating this for a long time. We keep playing them, and can really barely the tell the difference, if not at all. *shrug* Maybe it's just hearing damage. However, I personally - don't believe this whole 'high end equipment' explanation.

But - yeah I'm just giving you an unnecessary hard time over this. Thanks for posting up all the music on Youtube, lots of good tunes.

  • whoops - I posted that under my brothers account.
