You don't NECESSARILY think it is a sin?!? Cmon! stand up for something, no gray areas please! A sin is a sin, no matter how you "dress" it up. It is more than just a matter of health issue or not. I'm so disappointed on how a church may seem so relevant with the age but they compromise the word just to reach the generation. God doesn't change, and so does his word. We can't compromise that.
@louiebouiealfredo Christians try to put sin "labels" on everything that isn't addressed specifically in the bible. The bottom line is that it always boils down to the heart. If your heart is convicted that its not ok then dont. You need to keep your priorities in line with the Word and your relationship with GOd. If you do that than smoking cigarettes, cannabis and having some drinks is OK. The Heart is what matters.

Thats taking your life away.. the life that God our father gave us.... As God says that we are the temple of God... we cant have black nasty dirty stains in God's temple.... yes its a sin
@davidDdrummer "Our Body is the temple of the holy spirit" The context of that verse is in regards to Sexual Immorality Specifically. Not smoking cigarettes, lack of exercise, unhealthy diet etc... So many christians twist that verse to push they're agenda to prohibit what they want. I encourage you david to reevaluate your logic.

They are sooo bad for you health. cigarettes are a mind altering drug and according to the new peer medical journal on addiction cigarettes are more addictive than heroin. The bible speaks nothing specifically of homosexuality, substance use, or technology. If I died tomorrow of lung cancer you would pass it off as God's plan. Gimme a break. Guess what, the bible is a narrative, not a science text. Bicycles are not mentioned in the bible, does that make them evil? Thousands of people die every year due to bicycle accidents. Use your God given mind.
