it doesn't cause radiation risks at all, the technology that it used is the same as a 2d scan, the only risk is temperature but that it monitored throughout the scan.

it can cause soft tissue heating, but that's only if exposed to ultrasound scan for more than 30 minutes and that has never happened in human fetus.
